From Thursday, December 7 – Sunday, December 17, renowned private collectors including Amanita, Artline, Craig Robins, Henry Buhl, John Marquez, Miyoung Lee, and Reilly Opelka, will reunite to showcase their world-class pieces at MICHELIN-starred and James Beard-nominated COTE Miami. This year, they’re spotlighting artist Christopher “Flore” Florentino, an artist of the new school, as the hotel transforms into a gallery with an exhibition of his vibrant paintings. Entitled “Best In Show”, they merge street art influences and fine art technique. Flore’s work – including pieces created exclusively for the hotel and La Mar by Gastón Acurio – will be highlighted throughout the property with several works available to purchase. Starting December 4th through December 10th, guests will have the opportunity to try the limited-time-only collaboration dessert between the restaurant and the artist, which is a deconstructed interpretation of Sushi |Bar’s existing dessert inspired by Schroder’s artwork titled “Pulp and Panel Poesie”. The exclusive dessert features Aubi & Ramsa Signature Sushi | Bar Ice Cream, Dulche de Leche Sponge Cake, Dulce de Leche Cracker, Strawberry Coulis, Toasted Coconut, Coconut Meringue, Matcha Mushroom Salt, Meyer Lemon Emulsion, Edible Flowers, and Fresh Strawberries. His latest venture, Bouchon Bistro in Coral Gables, joins his one-starred Surf Club Restaurant in Surfside. Hells Kitchen Miami: Located a block from the water in Downtown’s Met Square complex, the two-story restaurant will have ample space for diners to indulge in all of the restaurant’s iconic menu items, spearheaded by one of the most talented chefs. The 16,736 square foot space includes a ground-floor patio and second-floor dining terrace, as well as a beautiful interior dining room. The interior design is set to emulate the hit television show’s set, with an open kitchen and contemporary bar, where diners can watch the iconic red and blue teams from their seat. Founded by esteemed partners, internationally recognized La Filiale owned by Martino de Rosa and celebrity chef Franco Pepe, alongside food and beverage impresario Paolo Domeneghetti, La Màrtola’s menu is characterized by simplicity and anchored by the highest quality local ingredients combined with delicacies imported from the coastal regions of the “old world.” Dishes feature a variety of new and classic favorites including an array of Neapolitan pizzas by La Filiale which will be made using a Stefano Ferrara wood-fired pizza oven, as well as a variety of wood-fired and grilled farm-raised meats, local fish, and locally grown vegetables, prepared in the restaurant’s custom-made wood grill by Grillworks.
