Art Deco Weekend
South Beach – January 12-14, 2024
Art Deco Weekend is a three-day celebration of that movement — a weekend filled with art, architecture, history, culture, entertainment and more. Originally created as a way to bring more people to Miami Beach at a time when tourism was low and preserving Art Deco history wasn’t a priority, today, this popular annual event is still the longest-running free community cultural festival in Miami Beach.
South Beach Jazz Festival
South Beach – January 5-8, 2024
The South Beach Jazz Festival is back. This three-day festival takes place throughout Miami Beach to showcase world-renowned musicians. All styles of jazz will be represented, from New Orleans to Brazilian, and all performances are free and open to the public.
King Mango Strut Parade
Coconut Grove, January 7, 2024
Over-the-top costumes, festive floats, marching bands and loads of fun are on tap at the beloved King Mango Strut Parade. Strut your stuff at this annual event that started in 1982 and celebrates the community’s bohemian and eccentric roots. The free parade, which weaves through the streets of Coconut Grove, starts at 2 p.m. and ends with live entertainment in Commodore Plaza at 6 p.m.

Miami’s longest-running juried art festival, Beaux Arts Festival, will be held on January 13-14, 2024 on the beautiful University of Miami campus. Ultra Music Festival

Party people from around the world escape rainy, gray springtime and descend on sunny Miami in late March for the annual Ultra Music Festival, a three-day electronic dance music (EDM) party. It’s no secret the LGBTQ+ community is drawn to the arts, so the Wynwood neighborhood is a natural fit for Greater Miami & Miami Beach’s first pride festival in the Covid-19 vaccine era. With a stellar entertainment lineup, the festival represented the hopes of all of us who were cooped up for the past year while nearly every Pride festival was shuttered because of the lockdown.

The exhibition will cover over a million square feet at the Miami Beach Convention Center, bringing with it hundreds of new cars, trucks, SUVs, electric vehicles and crossovers. Art Basel Miami Beach is North America’s most comprehensive international contemporary art fair with over 268 galleries from 35 countries showcasing works by more than 4,000 artists. Held at the newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center, Art Basel Miami Beach draws more than 83,000 art dealers, artists, collectors and aficionados to Miami during the fair.
