Jean-Georges Vongerichten presents his new take on Market at The Miami Beach EDITION, bringing distinct European flair with a slightly more Mediterranean touch. Market at EDITION, a gourmet eatery and marketplace, is pleased to announce its new menu with more Italian-inspired options.

As head of culinary concepts at The Miami Beach EDITION, Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges made a special appearance for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, where he introduced his new menu at Market with a stellar event; Ping Pong, Pizza, and Peroni. After everyone was finished making their rounds at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival on Fridaynight, guests made their way to Market at EDITION for an after party. Jean-Georges played host at his restaurant for festival-goers and fellow chefs to try out the new wood-fired pizzas, sip some Peroni, and take on the ping pong lover at his own game. Event photos can be found here.

The full-service 4,600 square-foot restaurant & patisserie, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, has expanded its lunch and dinner offerings to include new menu items such as a sausage and kale pizza ($16), veal milanese with sautéed escarole, sour cherries and parmesan ($30), fresh burrata with meyer lemon and grilled pumpernickel ($17), and a uniquely delicious angel hair pasta with golden garlic, jalapeños and ricotta ($24). The Alsatian says guests have requested that more pizzas and pastas be added to the menu, and he and his team will give patrons what they want. Fan favorites such as Market’s signature kale salad, tuna tartare, and carrot cake remain on the menu, but with more options stemming from the Mediterranean coasts of Italy. The new menus can be viewed online here.

A perfect excuse to try out the new menu, The Miami Beach EDITION will be offering a historic hotel tour on Wednesday, March 23rd. The evening will begin with a cocktail reception at the hotel’s Lobby Bar at 7pm, after which a tour will be lead by the hotel’s Director of Culture & Entertainment Josh Wagner, showcasing the unique historical facets of the property. Concluding with a tasty three-course dinner at Market, attendees can relish in the new menu offerings.
