Our objective this year is to create unique and unforgettable experiences that are inclusive, accessible and enjoyable for all.”
“Around the World…in 25 Bites”
From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wed., Dec. 6, Julia & Henry’s is kicking off Art Basel weekend with the launch of its first-ever “Around the World” event. Guests will be issued exclusive passports designed by Latin Grammy Award-winning designer Pedro Fajardo, which will act as an all-inclusive ticket to explore all 25 of Julia & Henry’s culinary concepts, each of which will be giving away a bestselling item from their menu. In addition to the dishes, guests will also accumulate personalized stamps that will fill the pages of the passport and transform it into a cherished memento of their epicurean expedition. There will also be the option to add three drinks, one from each bar, to the experience for an additional fee.
Renowned D.J. Barbi Kolm will be adding an extra layer of vibrancy to the evening by seamlessly weaving a live painting performance into her D.J. set. As for those eager to explore their own artistic talents, floors two and three will feature two massive canvases, inviting all guests to participate in a collective painting experience. This collaborative effort will culminate as an embodiment of the shared creativity and camaraderie that defines the essence of the evening.
These canvases will be available all weekend, refreshed daily, to ensure a new and exciting painting experience for all.
Shoe Customization Event ft. Pisos by Tatz
Starting at 1 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 9, renowned custom shoe designer Tatz, known for her innovative designs showcased on Instagram (@pisosbytatz), will be live-painting a pair of Julia and Henry’s-branded Nike Air Force 1s. Later in the evening, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., D.J. Barbi Kolm will return to the Julia and Henry’s stage for her signature D.J. set/live painting performance.
Add-Day Coloring Extravaganza
From 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sun., Dec. 10, Julia & Henry’s invites guests to participate in an all-day coloring extravaganza. Tables will be adorned with crayons, encouraging visitors to unleash their inner artists and transform the tabletops into vibrant artworks. Adding to the creative atmosphere, Velaviee will take the stage from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Her performance promises to be a unique fusion of Latin pop and flamenco that guests of all ages will enjoy.
