After officially launching in Phoenix during the big game weekend, The Pickleball House makes its next stop in Miami during race weekend. The Pickleball House Miami event will take place on Friday, May 5, 2023 at the premier downtown venue, JW Marriott Marquis Miami, the official hotel partner. The Pickleball House is a one-day, exclusive pop-up pickleball networking experience with a curated, open play for all levels, a competitive amateur tournament, along with intimate networking sessions and pop-up activations set to attract athletes, creators and business professionals alike.
Recognizing a niche in the rapidly growing sport of pickleball, The Pickleball House was founded not only to host a unique networking sporting event but to launch a platform that has a significant local impact. The event has partnered with two organizations, Udonis Haslem’s UD Foundation and Clean Miami Beach. The Miami Heat Forward and 3x NBA Champion, UD Foundation, empowers youth through sports with a focus on mental health. The UD Foundation will be co-hosting a pickleball youth clinic on May 6 at a local park, with two donated Pickleroll court surfaces from The Pickleball House. Additionally, Clean Miami Beach focuses efforts on raising awareness for eliminating single-use plastics and protecting Miami’s beaches. Clean Miami Beach will benefit from Alto Rideshare rides throughout the race weekend.

Danzeisen launched The Pickleball House in February 2023 during the big game weekend in Phoenix, Arizona. After the launch event, he attended major pickleball events and networked with athletes and pickleball pros and quickly pivoted the idea to launch it in the Miami market.
The Pickleball House is an invite-only, multi-session event beginning with: a Private/VIP play, followed by the main session (10AM-2PM) with open play that includes one challenge court, along with an intimate cocktail and networking lunch; and ending with the exclusive amateur doubles tournament (2PM-5:30PM) with 15-20 teams competing for grand prizes from the event’s sponsors.

The Pickleball House’s Miami pop-up event will take place on the 19th floor of the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and feature three courts of pickleball play along with a dedicated networking lounge featuring a golf simulator, mini bowling lane, billiards and sponsored activations set amongst skyline city views.
