Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, South Florida’s iconic taqueria by day and speakeasy concept by night, is taking its celebrated lively vibe to the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. From May 5th to 7th, ticketed guests at the Miami International Autodrome at Hard Rock Stadium (located at 347 Don Shula Drive in Miami Gardens) can head to their choice of on-site Bodega locations, each highlighting different offerings and amenities, as well as individual menus of favorites from the beloved restaurant’s roster of popular dishes. Menu highlights will include Chips and Guacamole; Nachos; and Tacos (Pollo Asado, Short Rib, Carnitas, Cameron Al Coco). By The Fountains area, attendees can expect to hear tunes from Bodega resident DJs while sipping on the Miami Grand Prix’s signature cocktail, the MIA Margarita made with Herradura Ultra. Those watching the fast-paced action from the Hard Rock Beach Club will enjoy offerings from the signature airstream food truck. Guests can choose from the four select tacos and build their own 10 pack to enjoy while watching the concerts in cabanas. Meanwhile, exclusive Paddock Club ticket holders can check out the incredible views from the rooftop viewing deck while enjoying complimentary bites from the brand’s new mini “Chiquita” airstream truck, making its debut at this year’s races.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Miami Grand Prix. We had an incredible response to last year’s build out at the inaugural race. We worked with Hard Rock Stadium and Soxexo Live! to bring the Bodega experience back to different areas of the campus,” said Jared Galbut, CEO and Co-Founder.
For race fans who are not able to make it to the track but want in on a piece of the action, Bodega will feature race-inspired cocktails at their Coconut Grove, South Beach and Fort Lauderdale lounge locations. While the TVs will be tuned in with sound on, guests can enjoy drink specials featuring Don Julio tequila will include the Pico Pit Stop, the 200 MPH(argarita), and the Bottoming Bucket with a mix and match of six beers; red bull; and seltzers for $35.
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is part of an impressive group of notable names in hospitality that comprise the exciting food and beverage program at the 2023 racing event. An incredible array of culinary delights will be on offer around the entire campus of the Miami International Autodrome, ranging from several James Beard award-winning chefs to local, minority-owned eateries, with a total of over 65 participating restaurants representing South Florida’s exploding culinary scene. With offerings to suit all tastes, the weekend will be a gastronomic experience like no other that will reflect the most prestigious, world-renowned restaurants in Miami, as well as the most authentic, cultural offerings the region has to offer.
The first Bodega Taqueria y Tequila opened in South Beach in 2015, followed by four additional South Florida locations including Fort Lauderdale in November 2020; Aventura in August 2021; West Palm Beach in February 2022; and Coconut Grove in August 2022. Showing no signs of slowing down, in addition to the two Chicago openings this spring and summer, Bodega is on course to double its footprint in the next two years with three additional South Florida locations set to open in Coral Gables in September 2023; Downtown Miami at Natiivo Miami in December 2023; Miami’s Wynwood arts district neighborhood in 2023; and expanding into their third U.S. state to Nashville, Tennessee in February 2024.
