Picture it, Miami, 2023! The Golden Girls Kitchen is thrilled to announce that beginning Friday, November 10th, fans can enjoy the ultimate “The Golden Girls”-themed dining experience in Miami’s popular Wynwood neighborhood (350 NW 24th Street). The fully immersive pop-up restaurant jet sets fans of all ages back to the 1980s, safely transporting them into the world of their favorite golden gals. Tickets for the restaurant will be available to the public starting October 17th exclusively through Bucket Listers

Following the massive success of Beverly Hills, New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago pop-up locations, The Golden Girls Kitchen will be a fast-casual restaurant with an emphasis on (you guessed it) desserts. Every ticket purchase will include a reserved seat and guaranteed window of time to dine, a choice of an entree, and most importantly, cheesecake.

The concept is the brainchild of Bucket Listers (the fast growing brand behind the popular Miami Bucket List known for making every day an adventure) and spearheaded by their President of Experiences, Derek Berry (the mastermind behind nostalgic pop-up phenomenon Saved by the Max, Good Burger, The Malibu Barbie Cafe and most recently The Family Guy Experience). The Golden Girls Kitchen transports guests the moment they walk through the doors into the world of this endearing fan favorite.

Bucket Listers is honored to bring The Golden Girls Kitchen home to Miami, after sold-out runs across the country, there was no choice better suited for our next destination,” says Derek Berry. “It’s also a personal homecoming for myself having grown up here, I cannot wait for the city to see what we have in store.”

The menu invites guests to nosh on the likes of Sophia’s Lasagna Al Forno (meat or vegan), plus other menu items like The Lanai: A “Miami style” Cuban Sandwich, Blanche’s Georgia Style Cookie, and the Bacon Lettuce Potato Sandwich (Say It Fast). Perhaps most importantly, there will be cheesecake in a variety of flavors. If you want to upgrade your dessert, try the Spierheoven Krispies (also available vegan) which includes strawberry cheesecake and chocolate ice cream. All of these delectable mains, sides, and sweets will be served by a lovable Shady Pines waiter.

Additionally, the pop-up will come complete with a variety of iconic photo moments for fans to play in the world of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, and Sofia. Cozy up to the kitchen table, grab some sun on the Lanai or snap a selfie in front of everyone’s favorite banana leaf print. Take a spin through Shady Pines on your way to the popup store featuring a range of brand-new “The Golden Girls” merchandise — no layover in St. Olaf required. Fans can expect a recurring drag brunch featuring top local performers throughout the duration of the pop-up’s run.
