SLOW FOOD MIAMI ANNOUNCES “SNAIL SOCIAL” LINEUP FOR 2015 SEASON;
KICKS OFF AT VAGABOND ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH

Miami, FL (August 28, 2015) – Slow Food Miami, the local, 100 percent volunteer non-profit dedicated to planting a fresher future for our children, will kick-off this season’s “Snail Social” roaming happy hour series on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 6 – 8 pm at Vagabond Restaurant & Bar, on Miami’s Upper East Side. Enjoy an evening with Chef Alex Chang at the helm while mingling with other celebrated Miami chefs and local producers and food supporters in celebration of Miami’s growing season start. Guests will enjoy special Happy Hour prices on signature bites and cocktails, while they discuss the latest in local food culture with those leading the charge. Admission is free and open to the public. There will be a Snail Social hosted by various Snail of Approval chefs and restaurants throughout Miami on the second Tuesday of every month from September through June 2016, except for March when the annual Snail of Approval Tasting Party – Miami’s Freshest Night Out – will take place.

Start marking your calendars for those to follow, including October 13th with Chef Aaron Brooks at Edge Steak & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Miami, November 10th with Chef Cesar Zapata at The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions, and December 8th with Chef Jamie DeRosa at Tongue & Cheek.
