Sagamore Hotel South Beach, Miami Beach’s historic art deco hotel known for its year-round art programming and museum-quality exhibitions, is once again celebrating Miami Art Week with a series of interactive activations and events. This year’s theme will be “The Digital Canvas: Unleashing AI in Art” which will fuse immersive Web3, AI, art, and Bitcoin.

On Thursday, December 7, the Sagamore will partner with Nolcha Shows, the award-winning Web3 experiential series focused on promoting cutting-edge and innovative artistry through shows and exhibitions, for a special art-meets-Bitcoin conference, powered by Gamma.io.

The Nolcha Shows: Ordinals Edition will bring together leading voices, builders, artists and collectors from the digital art ecosystem on Bitcoin, the world’s most decentralized blockchain and most permanent data store for fine art. The event will feature speakers from top brands and organizations in the space, including Trust Machines, Xverse, Gamma, Stacks, Apollo and more. For those interested in an exclusive VIP Collectors Edition ticket, the special Ordinal can be bought with Bitcoin on Gamma [link available on Nov 1].

The conference will feature panels, art workshops, and industry networking followed by an extravagant after-party featuring live performances, surprise acts, and masked characters.

Together with Nolcha Shows, Gamma will be curating the art on display all around the Sagamore lobby including mixed media art, physical paintings, digital projections, and more. This artwork will be displayed during the entirety of Miami Art Week. Participating Artists include AI digital artist Jenni Pasanen with NUMB3R xA, actors Vincent D’Onofrio and Laurence Fuller (bringing a triptych of poetic cinematic fine art through AI), Alex Alpert, Otha “Vakseen” Davis III, Waxbones, Jonathan Schultz, Resaang, Tyler Foust, and more.

Of course, no Miami Art Week is complete without the iconic Sagamore ART Brunch, now in its 22nd edition. The brunch will take place on Saturday, December 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., welcoming hundreds of industry leaders spanning art, entertainment and social media. As one of the most sought-after invites of the year, this exclusive event consistently delivers the gold standard of the Miami Art Week experience, with numerous art activations, live art, fashion shows, NFT displays, musical guests, performances by the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, gourmet catering by Paul’s, passed cocktails, mixology stations, and future-style performers from Nolcha Shows and more.

Historically, the Sagamore Brunch has been a signature event for the elite of the international art world, including collectors, dealers and artists. It’s a fitting tradition for the boutique beachfront hotel, which has been a staple of Miami Beach’s art scene since its art deco days. Through its internationally acclaimed #SagamoreIsArt cultural platform, under the direction of Ronit Neuman, the hotel’s co-owner since 2015, the Sagamore continues to offer immersive year-round art experiences to locals and guests alike, including rotating selling exhibits and exclusive partnerships with leading museums, international art galleries, nonprofit organizations, established and emerging artists, and private collectors. The Sagamore is one of the only venues in Miami Beach showcasing museum-quality art that is free to visit and on sale to the public 24/7. The advancement of Miami’s cultural landscape remains a priority for the hotel’s ownership.

During Miami Art Week, the hotel’s two-story bungalows will also be turned into mini galleries curated by Neuman in collaboration with local art galleries such as LivAspenArt Gallery.
