July 1 The Cure

The Cure is back on tour. The English rock band embarked on its first North American tour in seven years, beginning in May. It will include two stops in Florida – June 29 in Tampa and July 1 in Miami. The final stop on the 30-date, 26-city tour concludes at the Miami-Dade Arena.

July 1 – 2 Smorgasburg Miami’s Giant Fourth of July Cookout

On Saturday July 1st and Sunday July 2nd, Smorgasburg Miami, Miami’s largest outdoor-food market will host its annual giant fourth of July event. This time, Smorgasburg Miami will be partnering with Apocalypse BBQ, ranked Best BBQ by Miami New Times.

July 4 – Fourth of July Celebrations

It’s America’s Birthday! Miami is known for elaborate Independence Day celebrations. Various municipalities throughout the destination put on fireworks displays at parks and gathering places. Enjoy delicious food and drink specials being served up all weekend long. These tasty deals are sure to make sparks fly. From red, white and blue themed cocktails to all-American classics, the below South Florida dining destinations are the perfect spots to celebrate America’s birthday with friends and family.

 

July 4 – Fire On The Fourth

Fireworks and drones will once again light up the skies over Miami Beach. With a dedicated family zone, food trucks, live entertainment and a rock climbing wall, this outdoor festival marks the nation’s 247th birthday with the return of the city’s annual Fire on the Fourth celebration in North Beach. Tuesday, July 4th, 3 PM – 9 PM. 73 Street and Collins Avenue featuring: Rock Climbing, Mega Obstacle Course, and Giant Soccer Dart Game. Imagination Playground with Jenga, Connect 4 and Corn Hall. Stage performances featuring DJ’s and The Miami Beats – led by Jacin Paul (Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias’ guitarist) and a 9 piece band. High energy and fun awaits!

 

July 4 Beach Skate Roller Disco

Beach Skate returns! Miami Beach The Bandshell becomes a roller disco, featuring all your favorite skate tunes via the Bandshell Allstars on deck. The rink welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities, and is hosted by the Roller Skate Vibes crew. Bring your own skates or blades for your twirl time, or use a courtesy pair (thanks to Faena Arts). Non-skaters, join us for the great music and fun from the rear deck. Stay after the skating for the City of Miami Beach’s Fire on the Fourth celebration of Independence Day. Admission is free with RSVP. All skaters must sign a release prior to entrance. Presented by Rhythm Foundation and City of Miami Beach.

Bayfront Park is the place to be for a free all-day event for Independence Day. America’s Birthday Bash runs from morning until night, and there’s something for everyone: food, drinks, live music, a kid’s play zone, and of course, fireworks to cap off the entire event.
