Tacombi, the popular Mexican taqueria, will open its third Florida location in the heart of Wynwood on August 25, 2023. Known for its flavorful tacos, playful beverages and Mexican hospitality, Tacombi Wynwood will be a tropical oasis with a secret entrance on 26th Street.

“Miami is one of my favorite cities and the nonstop energy and artistic environment of Wynwood is perfect for our vibrant taqueria,” says Dario Wolos, founder and CEO of Tacombi. “Tacombi was created with the goal of connecting people to Mexican culture and we’re thrilled with the way the Miami community has embraced this journey.”

With a clean exterior highlighting the hand painted signage of Mexico, Tacombi Wynwood will add to the creativity of the neighborhood with a vibrant and lively interior designed to share the aesthetic of Mexican taquerias. White subway tiles clad the kitchen and bar with pops of bright tropical colors, signage and branding throughout the space. The restaurant will offer seating for 97 indoors and 44 outdoors, while the outdoor backyard will be filled with greenery and provide a relaxing oasis-like environment.

Open for lunch, happy hour and dinner, the lively taqueria will be a place for people to connect and enjoy the foodways of Mexico. Executed by Carmen Miranda, one of Mexico’s “MasterChefs”, Tacombi’s menu brings together distinct flavors and recipes from across the country’s 32 states, with popular dishes like Corn Esquites, Guacamole con Totopos, Carnitas Tacos, Pollo Yucateco, Baja Crispy Fish Tacos, Beef Birria Tacos, Gringa Quesadillas and more. True to its taco culture, Tacombi uses its own traditional Vista Hermosa flour and corn tortillas and simple, natural ingredients.

On the beverage front, Tacombi’s bar features classic cocktails like the Margarita, alongside other favorites like the Spiked Hibiscus, a smoky mezcal with fresh hibiscus flower; the Paloma, made with tequila blanco, fresh grapefruit and agave; and a frozen Piña Colada made with dark rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream. Guests will also find a selection of Mexican beer and non-alcoholic drinks such as Tacombi’s signature Agua Frescas, Lupita sodas and Maya Colas.

With each new opening, Tacombi continues to grow the impact of The Tacombi Foundation, a nonprofit organization with a mission to advance Mexican communities through food accessibility and education. As part of the Foundation, the Tacombi Community Kitchen which provides food for people in need by donating thousands of quality and reliable Mexican meals each week, will partner with Lotus House, a unique resource center and residential facility serving homeless women and infants.

Tacombi Wynwood is located at 275 NW 26 Street, Miami, FL and will be open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, please visit https://www.tacombi.com/.
