In anticipation of Miami Spice, Meat Market, the bustling Lincoln Road restaurant acclaimed for its inventive contemporary steakhouse cuisine and bustling bar, is introducing a new daily two-course lunch special and weekend Happy Hour. Priced at $26 per person, Meat Market’s lunch special follows the spirit of Miami Spice by showcasing Meat Market’s best at an unbeatable price.
The special lunch menu, now on offer, is served seven days a week. Choice of first course selections: Slow Braised BBQ Short Rib Empanada with mango BBQ sauce and pear salad; a sumptuous, market-inspired Daily Soup Special; Quinoa Avocado Salad with pine nuts, basil, cherry tomato, goat cheese arugula, purple cabbage, parmesan breadstick, and preserved lemon dressing; Balsamic Baby Tomato Salad with arugula walnut pistou, basil oil, balsamic glaze and grilled bread and Half Baby Wedge Salad with baby iceberg lettuce, candied bacon, mango, cherry tomatoes, walnuts, bleu cheese and a choice of dressing. Guests can opt for menu upgrades with premium items such as the Asian Trio Tuna Tartare (+$10) with ginger, soy, jalapeno, avocado smash and mango mole; and a Half Dozen Bluepoint Oysters (+$10) with cocktail sauce, yuzu mignonette and horseradish.
Second course specials include Petite Prime Ribeye Char-Grilled with sweet & sour onion rings, grilled broccolini, and spicy tomato chutney; and Blackened Scottish Salmon with sautéed baby spinach, roasted corn, mango, and crunchy almonds. Fans of the restaurant will be pleased to find a duo of Meat Market’s signature handcrafted burgers on the menu: the MM Certified Angus Burger – an 8 oz. custom chuck and skirt blend served on a brioche bun with ripe tomatoes, caramelized onions, chipotle pickles, gouda cheese, and a side of crispy Market fries; and the Snake River Farms BBQ Meatloaf Burger, a tempting blend of smoked bacon, grilled chili peppers, and sweet potato on a brioche bun. Upgrades include a Pan-Seared 6 oz. Filet Mignon (+$10) and Herb Crusted Seabass (+$15) with truffle mash, wild mushrooms, sweet corn, tomato, truffle nage and soy beans.
Part of the lunch special, choice of a side with options including sweet potato fries; Market French fries; cheddar mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Meat Market’s a la carte lunch is also available.
Part of Meat Market’s success has been its Happy Hour; nightly the bar is abuzz. Classically, Happy Hour is simply a Friday thing. Now, it extends Friday through Sunday, 5PM – 8PM. Included in the Happy Hour offerings, an array of bar bites (gouda tater-tots anyone?) as well as fabulously-priced cocktails and spirit specials.
