Already a must-visit dining destination amidst the hustle and bustle of Coral Gables, Ichimi, the city’s newest Japanese concept serving up authentic bites with a twist, will now offer an All Day Happy Hour featuring fan favorites at unbeatable prices, beginningMonday, April 11, 2016. Available Monday through Friday from Noon to 7PM, lunch goers and Happy Hour enthusiasts can enjoy signature Izakaya offerings at irresistible prices. Options include Fried Oysters ($9) – yuzu pepper aioli, scallion pesto and pea tendrils; Chicken Wings ($7) – pom powder, spicy garlic honey yuzu glaze and micro radish; and a rendition of the ever popular taco with G Uni ($12) – tempura nasturtium, uni, wagyu and shiso air. Buns also make their way to the All Day Happy Hour menu. Traditionally 3 for $10, Ichimi’s Fried Oyster, Pork Belly and Brisket options will be priced at $6 for a trio.
A dining experience at Ichimi would not be complete without Ramen, made daily from scratch with the help of a premium noodle making machine imported straight from Japan. An exclusive Ramen Happy Hour will be offered on weekdays from Noon to 3PMand will feature 24-hour broths such as Tonkotsu ($15) – pork belly, hanjuku egg, bamboo shoots, takana and bean sprouts;Seafood ($20) – lemongrass, clams, shrimp, garlic confit, micro radish, pea tendrils and scallions; Veggie ($17) – shoyu, shiitake, nameko, mung bean, scallion, bamboo shoots and dehydrated red pepper strings; and Beef Brisket ($15) – bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, takana, dehydrated red pepper strings and hanjuku egg. Cold Ramen presented with a salad-like execution will grace theRamen Happy Hour menu with options of Tonkotsu Demi ($10) – scallion and sesame oil, with options to add shrimp ($7), beef ($6), pork belly ($6), or fresh veggies ($6).
Of course, no Happy Hour is complete without beer, wine and sake options. Patrons can sip on $7 hot and cold Sakes such as Minato Harbor Namagenshu; Konteki Tears Of Dawn Daiginjo and Tozai Typhoon Sake. Beers will include local craft favorite Funky Buddha ($4); Three Philosophers ($7) and Victory Golden Monkey ($5).
