Vintage Frames Company Partners with Gallery Artist Trevor “Trouble” Andrew on Limited Edition Exhibition (RSVP Only) – Vintage Frames Company, the premier designer vintage eyewear experts and designer eyewear brand, partnered with Trevor “Trouble” Andrew a.k.a. Gucci Ghost on a series of limited edition prints that will be exclusively available during Art Basel Miami. The numbered prints are paired with a special-edition sunglass and case inspired by the artwork, retailing at $1,000. Drawing inspiration from Vintage Frames Company’s 1980’s Miami Vice inspired retail concept, Creative Director and CEO Corey Shapiro tapped longtime friend and gallery artist, Trevor Andrew, to explore a different medium for their first collaboration. The two will debut their collaboration with an intimate celebration at Vintage Frames Company’s U.S. flagship store at The Goodtime Hote on Thursday, December 7th, from 6:00pm- 9:00pm (Ages 21+). Vintage Frames Company at The Goodtime Hotel in Miami is open between 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and closes at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Vilebrequin Unveils New Artist Editions at The Goodtime Hotel – Beginning Friday, December 8th at 5:00pm, Vilebrequin will unveil new artist editions including swimsuits made in collaboration with Derrick Adams, Sylvie Fleury, Kenny Scharf, Mickalene Thomas and Racquel Chevremont, and John Armelder. Guests can sip on rosé from Chateau D’Esclans and shop the new collection during Vilebrequin’s Art Basel pop-up within The Goodtime Hotel (601 Washington Avenue)’s outdoor breezeway. In-store, Vilebrequin will also showcase the brand’s latest artist edition collaborations including colorful and playful pop-surrealist inspired designs by Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel, and American Artist Kenny Scharf’s vibrant and youthful “cosmos” creations with scenes and characters depicting a cartoon-like world. Visitors who shop in-store from Friday, December 8th to Sunday, December 10th will receive a complimentary John Armelder pouch with their purchase, while supplies last.
Andrea Olivia Pool Party: Basel Edition at The Pool at Strawberry Moon – The Pool at Strawberry Moon brings renowned DJs to the stage this Art Week for a vibrant pool party featuring Andrea Oliva, Arodes, Kimonos, Augusto Yepes, Purple, and Gustavo Ibarra on Friday, December 8th beginning at 12:00pm. Named for the full moon that occurs closest to the summer solstice, Strawberry Moon offers an energetic gathering place for visitors and guests alike. Equipped with two bars and two parallel pools, guests can experience a carefree goodtime from day to night. General admission tickets begin at $20 per person (ages 21+) and VIP tables, daybeds, cabanas, and bungalow offerings are available here.
