January 12 – 14, 2024 Art Deco Weekend

Today’s Miami Beach is a haven for all kinds of art and artists but, historically, it’s most known for Art Deco. Launched in 1976 by the nonprofit organization, Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL), Art Deco Weekend is a three-day celebration of the design movement – a weekend filled with art, architecture, history, culture, entertainment and more. Art Deco Weekend is a free community cultural festival celebrating Miami’s architecture, history, arts, and culture. Organized by the Miami Design Preservation League (MDPL), the festival will celebrate its 47th year in 2024 with the theme: Celebrating Florida’s Historic Communities.

 

January 12 – 13, 2024 Great Gatsby Party

One hundred years after the era that inspired it, The Great Gatsby Party® returns, ready to channel the exuberance, decadence, and spirit of revelry of the Roaring Twenties. January 13 – 14, 2024 The Beaux Arts Festival

Miami’s longest-running juried art festival will be held on January 13-14, on the beautiful University of Miami campus. The festival will feature over 150 fine art exhibitors, a children’s art tent, marketplace, a beer garden, food and live entertainment. January 25, 2024 – nightLAB: A New Adults-Only Experience at Frost Science

January 11-25, 2024 – Miami Jewish Film Festival

January 27, 2024 Pegasus World Cup

The million-dollar horse race ($3 million, to be exact) returns to Gulfstream Park this January. Launched in 2017 as part of 1/ST’s mission to modernize the sport of Thoroughbred horse racing, the Pegasus World Cup has become a premier event on the racing and Miami social calendars.  Come for the atmosphere, which borders on South Beach nightclub thanks to a day party and live musical performances. This year’s post-race A-list performances by Kygo and OneRepublic. Groot Hospitality restaurants Komodo, Papi Steak, Key Club and Gekkō will serve Carousel Club guests.

 

January 28, 2024 Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Marathon

As one of the biggest endurance events of the year, the Life Time Miami Marathon & Half will return on January 28, 2024 for its 21st edition. More than 25,000 people from all 50 states and more than 80 countries around the world will compete in both the 26.2-mile marathon and 13.1-mile half marathon that snakes through the city. With such a gorgeous racecourse, it’s easy to see why the Miami Marathon and Half Marathon has emerged as a top destination race for international runners.

 

January 27 – 28, 2024 Miami Brickell Art Festival

Enjoy two days of fine art, food, music and more at the 10th annual Miami Brickell Art Festival on Saturday, January 27 and Sunday, January 28. After 9 years as the Miami/Coral Gables Art & Mega Festival, this annual art fest has moved to a new location in the Brickell area and renamed itself accordingly.

The festival will run from the Miami River to 10th St., featuring over 150 exhibitors of fine art. There will also be live music, food, activations and more. As part of the main art fest, festival goers can enjoy a lineup of food and and drink festivals and events that include the Miami/Brickell Beer, Wine & Spirits Festival and the Brickell Seafood Festival. Now – Jan 7, 2024 Christmas Wonderland At Tropical Park

Tropical Park is transformed into a Christmas Wonderland this holiday season when it gets decked out with holiday displays and light shows for a magnificent midway of thrilling carnival rides. Kids can explore Santa’s Village and meet jolly old Saint Nick plus enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus, while grown-ups can gather at the snowy ice bar. There’s also a Cirque du Soleil-style aerial show featuring hoops, balance boards and swords as well as a daredevil motorcycle show.

 

Now- Jan 2024 – NightGarden at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Now – April 21, 2024: Sharks Exhibit At Frost Science Museum

Dive into the Sharks exhibition at the Frost Museum of Science in Downtown Miami. Explore shark diversity and habitats with life-sized models, 3D displays, and a 360-degree view of a hammerhead shark. The three-level aquarium offers live shark views.
