Nelly to Ring in 2021 Oceanside at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Fontainebleau Miami Beach has announced that it will host an evening with none other than chart-topping artist Nelly for an al fresco soiree perfect for those seeking an upscale, safe and stylish way to say goodbye to 2020.
Held on the property’s oceanfront Ocean and La Cote lawns, the exclusive concert will offer table-seating only with no on-site or general admission sales allowed; advance reservations are required. Each table includes a “Basket of Cheer” beverage package valued at $1,600 and includes: Dom Perignon Luminous 2008, Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Reserve, Grey Goose Vodka, Bacardi Superior Silver Rum and Mastro Dobel “Diamonte” Tequila, and all appropriate mixers. As an added benefit, overnight guests of Fontainebleau receive an exclusive discount saving $500 on each table. Tables will be strategically placed throughout the lawns at a minimum of six feet. Attendees will be temperature checked upon entering the hotel and will be required to wear a mask when entering, exiting and when not eating/drinking.
Doors open at 8PM, and the evening kicks off with a DJ at 9PM. Nelly will take the stage at approximately 11:30PM and lead the countdown at midnight. The event will end promptly at 1AM due to the City of Miami Beach curfew.

Chotto Matte Presents “Dystropolis” NYE 2021 Celebration
On Thursday, Dec. 31, Chotto Matte is inviting guests to enter a world of cosmic dystopia, leaving 2020 behind while entering its bright futuristic “Dystropolis” New Year’s Eve celebration in the heart of South Beach. The lavish party will start at 4 p.m. and continue late, so diners can enjoy futuristic beats by Chotto Matte’s resident DJ and savor its signature Nikkei sharing menus while sipping on cosmic cocktails throughout the night.
Diners can select from two prix fixe menus:
- Nikkei Menu I: features popular dishes including “O-toro” nikkei sashimi, lobster ceviche, wagyu and foie gras gyoza, slow cooked BBQ beef “asado de tira,” branzino fillet tempura, “chu-toro sato maki” salmon, and “Machu Picchu Mountain” pistachio ice cream. ($150 per person)

New Year’s Eve at Katsuya and The Bazaar by José Andrés
Those looking to countdown the New Year on Miami Beach can spend the night at SLS South Beach. For a sit-down dinner, guests can select from Katsuya (min. $90/person at first seating or $150 at the second seating) or The Bazaar by José Andrés (min. $175/person at first seating or $350 at the second seating). New Year’s Eve at SLS South Beach
Starting at $25,000, SLS South Beach has crafted the ultimate NYE experience in the hotel’s infamous Tower Penthouse – envisioned by singer Lenny Kravitz with more than 1,000 square feet of interior space and a private rooftop terrace. On the big night, guests can expect in-room premium open bar service; décor and party favors; free flowing champagne all night; a photographer to capture the night’s special moments; and a private dinner for up to 10 guests curated by Katsuya. Greece Comes to Miami for the Holidays: Celebrate Christmas the Greek way at Ornos Estiatorio with big family dinners, sweet treats and joy! Award-winning chef Michael Mina and restaurateurs Jerry Goumroian and chef Nikos Georgousis have put together a pre-fixe menu $75 per person. Bringing to life the sensory pleasures of a trip to the Greek Isles – delectable fresh fish, beloved Mediterranean specialties, and genuine Greek hospitality – the 160-seat neighborhood restaurant will be filled with Christmas joy and kalandas (Greek traditional Christmas carols). This New Year’s Eve, join Chef/Owner Michael Beltran for the final Versos Sencillos tasting menu of 2020. Chef Beltran’s twelve-course tasting menu that has been a hit since it first launched earlier this year. The special menu, which includes a glass of bubbly, is priced at $225 per person with an optional wine pairing available for an additional $125 or $190 per person, and an optional cocktail pairing available for $95 or $55 (spirit free). Dishes include three Amuse offerings; a local fish ceviche with strawberry and tomato jus, tomato leaf powder, and veil of tomato; savory potato doughnut with foie gras mousse, bitter coffee mousse, and shaved white truffles; sofrito guinea hen with fricasse jus; and pork tenderloin with braised pork cheeks, sherried chestnuts, local calabaza, and mushroom espuma, and more.
