June 17th marks a special occasion for nature enthusiasts and ocean lovers alike as Miami Guide invites everyone to join in on the World Sea Turtle Day cleanup event in partnership with Miami-Dade Sea Turtles and Miami-Dade Parks & Recreation. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Haulover Park, this event promises not only a chance to make a difference but also a day filled with entertainment, education, and celebration of our beloved sea turtles. The event will kickoff with a Beach Cleanup from 9AM-11AM, and conservation tents & Food Trucks offering delicious treats will be open to the public from 10AM-2PM!

The event kicks off bright and early at 8:30 am with registration and check-in. Get there early to secure your spot and receive all the necessary information for the day. As you arrive, you’ll feel the excitement building as like-minded individuals gather for a common cause.

At 9 am, armed with gloves, garbage bags, and a sense of purpose, participants will head out to the shoreline for the cleanup event. While the cleanup event is the core of the day, the excitement doesn’t end there. As the clock strikes 10 am, Haulover Park will transform into a hub of celebration and education in honor of World Sea Turtle Day. Haulover Park will come alive with food trucks offering delicious treats.
