Miami Guide Take

Zoko Collective sits just west of Wynwood on NW 29th Street, and it’s not trying to be one restaurant — it’s five culinary and beverage concepts under one roof, plus a rotating calendar of live music, DJ sets, wine tastings, and guest chef nights. The idea, borrowed from the centuries-old Basque Txoko tradition, is that you shouldn’t have to leave your seat to turn dinner into an entire night out.

Zoko Collective is built around the Basque Txoko — private, members-driven social clubs organized around food, wine, and staying at the table long after the meal’s technically over. Zoko takes that idea and opens it up: five culinary and beverage concepts operating out of one space, so a table can move through courses, cuisines, and drink programs without a second reservation.

The clearest example is the schedule itself. Asado — the Argentine grill program — runs Thursday through Saturday at 7 PM, and it’s reservation-only, no walk-ins. Sunday brings a brunch service from noon to 4 PM that’s walk-in friendly, a different register entirely from the Asado nights. Lovecat, the cocktail bar built into the space, is doing its own thing alongside the food program — solid, inventive drinks in the $15 range, worth a stop on its own even outside a full dinner. The programming beyond the menu — the live music, the DJ sets, the guest chef collaborations, the wellness and community events — is what actually makes this a Txoko instead of just a restaurant with a good bar attached: the point is staying, not turning the table.
