Bakan

Located in the heart of Wynwood, Miami’s most creative neighborhood, Bakan is a restaurant concept from famed Grupo Bakan Hospitality Group. The indoor and outdoor restaurant transports guests to Mexico with a wide variety of authentic regional dishes. Their true Mexican dining experience is exemplified by the use of an ancient Aztec cooking process known as Nixtamalization, to make corn tortillas with higher nutritional value, that are grilled (rather than fried) over wood fire. Every inch of the space conveys a fun, lively and warm environment, from the open-view kitchen allowing guests to witness the art of handcrafted tortilla making, to the four-tiered glass case filled with more than 500 mezcals and tequilas and more. Bakan is open for lunch and dinner daily and offers a menu made with fresh, artisanal ingredients.
