A Tropical Nochebuena in Mamey at THesis Hotel

Mamey is an island-inspired restaurant, recognized by the New York Times Best Restaurants of 2022 list and led by four-time James Beard Award Nominee and Food & Wine’s Best New Chef of 2020, Chef Niven Patel. Located inside THesis Hotel, Mamey is inspired by Chef Patel’s travels throughout Asia, French Polynesia and the Caribbean. For Christmas the restaurant will be channeling a tropical Noche Buena vibe, offering a prix fixe menu to be shared family style ($85 per person). For the first course guests can indulge in several treats that will transport them to a Caribbean island Christmas, including the Key West Pink Shrimp Ceviche with Crispy Green Plantain, Aguachile and Avocado; Jamaican Short Rib Empanadas with Sofrito and Roasted Garlic Chili sauce and the Roasted Poblano Tamales with Red Pepper Chimichurri, Queso Blanco and Cassava. For the second course, turkey shall not be missed as innovative dishes will keep you coming for more. If fish is your thing, the Pan Roasted Red Snapper with Carrot Habanero Stew, Kombu and Saffron will be your highlight but there are also mouth watering options for chicken and pork lovers, like the Mojo Roasted Porchetta with Adzuki Bean Congri, Collards, Rum Roasted Baby Carrot and Scallion Salad or the Smokey Jerk Chicken with Lemon Thyme Jus. The Night Before Christmas at Negroni Midtown

Guests can flock over to Negroni Midtown on December 24 to indulge in a special four course pre-fixe dinner by Executive Chef Pablo Latif with a choice between a modern-inspired fusion menu and Nikkei sushi bar experience. Rosie’s at Home Christmas Kits

Indulge in a relaxing and stress-free Christmas at home as Rosie’s: The Backyard, helmed by Executive Chef and co-owner, Akino West, returns with its annual Rosie’s at Home Christmas Kits, for a homemade Christmas brunch of Southern classics with an Italian twist. The kit feeds two people for $130 and four people for $250 and includes: Smoked Salmon Benedict, served on a homemade English muffin with a Meyer-lemon rosemary hollandaise sauce; Buttermilk Biscuits, with Lake Meadows Farm Fresh Eggs and Rosie’s signature crispy chicken, topped with house pickles and a spicy buffalo sauce; Wagyueria Bacon, served with a shaved melon salad and Southern Polenta; and a bottle of Prosecco and 305 Squeezed Tangerine Juice.  The kit will be available for pre-order via online starting Monday, December 19, and ready for pick-up from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

La Fuga at Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Celebrate Christmas Eve with The Feast of the Seven Fishes at La Fuga, located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale at Kimpton Shorebreak Fort Lauderdale Resort. The Italian-American celebration of Christmas Eve kicks off holiday festivities with seven courses of fish and seafood led by Executive Chef Michael Mayer, including dishes such as Cioppino al San Francisco, a seafood stew of scallop, mussels, clams, grouper, shrimp, fingerling potato and spicy tomato broth topped with sour dough bread; Insalata di Rucola e Calamari, an arugula salad with radicchio, and griddled calamari, drizzled with lemon aioli vinaigrette; and Frittelle di Baccalà, made with salt cod, potato, cauliflower and caper-anchovy relish.
