Renowned Nikkei dining destination Chotto Matte introduces Steak & Sushi Sundays, available every Sunday beginning at 5 PM.

The contemporary offering calls upon two of the restaurant’s most prominent kitchen sections – the sushi counter and robata grill. For a set price of $65, guests will enjoy an exclusive set menu with an abundant selection of signature sushi and indulgent wagyu steak.

Featured sushi favorites include signature dishes such as salmon nigiri shiso and marinated ikura; branzino nigiri with mustard miso picante honey salsa; chu-toro nigiri with kizami wasabi salsa; hamachi nigiri with jalapeno truffle dressing; spicy tuna crispy rice; yellowtail crispy rice; prawn cut roll and spicy tuna roll. The specially selected olive fed wagyu alcatra is served with red anticucho butter, green bean tempura and Chotto Matte’s famous smoked purple potato mash for a bold Nikkei twist.

Designed by Executive Head Chef Jordan Sclare, the new concept celebrates craftsmanship, and the contrast of land and sea. Guests are invited to explore new colorful flavors, reflective of Chotto Matte’s innovative cooking style of combining Peruvian ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques.

Chotto Matte aspires to reimagine end-of-the-week indulgence, adding a charismatic choice to the city’s diverse dining scene. Served from 5:00 PM, the new Sundays will channel Chotto’s recognizable energy providing a multi-sensory experience that is a feast for both the eyes and the palette.

The menu is available globally to each of the brand’s outposts including London, Toronto, Doha, and impending openings in San Francisco and Riyadh.
