Smorgasburg Miami, the 50,000 square-foot food market adjacent to the Wynwood Walls and what the Miami Herald dubbed as “Disneyland for food”, is hosting the ultimate Halloween Market Celebration on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Kicking off at 12PM, guests can trick-or-treat Smorgasburg-style and visit the 40+ festively decorated vendor booths offering individualized unique food offerings and specials.

From 4PM-5:30PM, guests are invited to watch or participate in the official Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Contest — an opportunity for your favorite pup to strut its stuff on the runway and win the best prizes. The dog costume contest will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges including South Beach Wine & Food Festival Founder/CEO, Lee Schrager; CBS News lifestyle reporter Lisa Petrillo; and Miami New Times food and spirits editor, Laine Doss;  with Yelp’s very own Diandra Lamas at Emcee. To enroll your furry friend in the costume contest, visit @SmorgasburgMiami on Instagram for more details.

As if that wasn’t enough, from 3PM-7PM there will be live music courtesy of Wynwood School of Music. Human attendees are welcome to participate in a people-dressed-like-food contest as well; just show up dressed to thrill any time that day and visit the info booth at Smorgasburg to get your picture taken. The winner will be announced via social media. Prizes include gift cards courtesy of Smorgasburg & Wild Fork. Smorgasburg partners with their own food rescue initiative on a regular basis, Buddy System MIA, who will also be onsite.
