Sixthman, – known for curating unforgettable experiences on sand and sea since 2001 with festivals such as The Rock Boat, Cayamo, and many others – teams up with Agency 21 Consulting (A21) and EBG for the first-ever Chefs Making Waves. This four-night all-inclusive culinary cruise will feature the country’s top celebrity chefs, personalities, authors, and more. Setting sail from the Port of Miami on Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) along the breezy islands of the Caribbean Monday, March 25 – Friday, March 29, 2024, Chefs Making Waves promises a one-of-a-kind voyage for foodies of every degree.
This intimate expedition will be the ultimate getaway for those with an appetite for unique opportunities to taste and learn from some of the industry’s most acclaimed culinary talents. Chefs Making Waves will board many of the world’s best chefs, wine, and spirit producers to provide its passengers with a premier gastronomic celebration at sea. The Chefs Making Waves culinary cruise will feature walk-around tastings, cooking demonstrations, curated dinners, late-night parties, brunches, lunches, mixology experiences and more, all led by award-winning Food Network chefs, TV personalities, cookbook authors, food activists, and restaurateurs, including Michael Symon, Robert Irvine, Aarón Sánchez, Scott Conant, Marc Murphy, Buddy Valastro, Andrew Zimmern, Anne Burrell, Marcus Samuelsson, and Maneet Chauhan. Additional culinary talent forthcoming.
“Our goal is to provide guests with an immersive culinary experience unlike anything they’ve ever experienced before,” said Jeff Cuellar, Vice President of Sixthman Partnerships. “We are thrilled to partner with A21 and EBG to bring our first-ever Chefs Making Waves food cruise to life. We believe that food is an important part of any vacation experience, and we’re excited to bring together some of the most talented tastemakers in the industry aboard to offer guests the opportunity to indulge in world-class cuisine while enjoying all the amenities and entertainment that Norwegian Cruise Line has to offer.”
Passengers looking to sharpen their culinary skills can grab a seat at one of the cooking demos on board and learn how to make pasta like a pro, taste global cuisine, and bake like a boss. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a beachside barbeque hosted on the sand of Norwegian’s private island, Great Stirrup Cay. The Pool Deck and Garden Cafe will host late-night takeover events with decadent sweets and sounds of the ‘70s at the Dessert Disco; munch on Mexican street tacos to savory samosas and everything in between at International Street Eats; and experience the dancing, culture, and cuisine of Cuba at Cabana Cubana. Start your morning off with one of the ship’s several fitness classes like Morning Yoga or Pickleball Takes All, and follow it with Bloody Mary Bingo, for some refreshing beverages and breakfast bites. Guests can look forward to chef collabs every night in the dining room followed by post-dinner events including interactive culinary games and food-inspired movie screenings. Most events will be led and hosted by culinary and mixology mavens.
Unlike other food events and festivals, the purchase of your stateroom includes all programming (excluding select premium experiences) and a complimentary Premium Plus Beverage Package that includes top-shelf cocktails, spirits, beer, champagne, and wine by the glass, unlimited soft drinks and juices, unlimited still and sparkling bottled water, all Starbucks® coffee, specialty drinks, and energy drinks.
