RÒ Steakhouse is now open in Coral Gables, bringing its acclaimed, elevated cuisine to Alhambra Tower

Renowned for the success of their acclaimed restaurants in Mérida, Mexico, Cienfuegos, and 130° Steakhouse,  partners Carlos Aguirre and Victor Ferraez of ViCa Hospitality Group are making their U.S. debut with Rò Steakhouse in Coral Gables. Opening on Oct. 27, Rò will merge the best of these two concepts, offering a primal dining experience that combines traditional with a modern-contemporary experience, bringing a fresh perspective and an approachable menu to Miami’s culinary scene.

Opening within the iconic Alhambra Tower, which houses the award-winning offices of Allen Morris Company in Coral Gables, the 7,000-square-foot restaurant will offer seating for 130 guests indoors, with an outdoor terrace set to debut later this year. Designed by Arkham Projects and built by RAM Construction Management, Rò’s striking interior combines contemporary architecture with tactile natural elements—bronze, stone, and wood—creating a refined, cave-like atmosphere that feels both intimate and inviting. Overhead, wooden roof panels curve like natural rock formations, while soft beams of light filter through the slats, casting a warm, dappled glow across the space. The design blurs the line between nature and structure, transporting diners into a serene, elemental setting. Rò will also feature private and semi-private dining rooms, ideal for intimate gatherings and special celebrations.

Rooted in the belief that fire transforms food into ceremony, Rò redefines the traditional steakhouse through artisanal preparations over wood, stone, and flame, creating a truly multisensory dining experience. Under the direction of Head Chef Marcelo Palacios, formerly of renowned steakhouses including Prime 112, the menu features an array of thoughtfully crafted dishes, offering an elevated yet approachable dining experience. Guests can enjoy selections ranging from hot and cold starters to tacos and tostadas, alongside premium meats and seafood such as the Bone-In Ribeye, Tomahawk, and Pistachio-Crusted Tuna. Signature offerings like the Truffle Risotto and Beef Wellington are also staple dishes to indulge in at Rò. No meal is complete without Rò’s indulgent sides, including Scallion Mac & Cheese, Garlic Mushrooms, and Truffle Fries.

Whether seated at the 10-seat illuminated bar or enjoying a table in the dining room, Rò’s cocktail and wine program is designed to complement the dining experience, offering a curated selection of fine wines and handcrafted cocktails. The restaurant’s impressive wine cellar, housing an extensive collection of vintages from around the world, serves as the foundation for an exclusive membership program featuring just 20 private lockers. Rò Steakhouse will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, welcoming guests Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Happy hour will also be offered Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rò Steakhouse is located at 121 Alhambra Plaza, Suite 110, Coral Gables, FL 33134.
