Delano, the iconic Miami Beach property, is now open, presenting a refined, reimagined experience that serves as a heartfelt tribute to Miami. Located in the heart of South Beach, the destination aims to embrace the artistic and cultural landscape of its surrounding city through its world class programming, hospitality and design.
This bold new chapter for the Delano honors the legacy of its predecessor while redefining it for a new era. The hotel marks the U.S. debut of Paris Society, a leading global hospitality group headquartered in Dubai and Paris, with the opening of Mimi Kakushi and Gigi Rigolatto, two of its most acclaimed restaurant concepts arriving on American shores for the first time. The Source by Delano, a new wellness concept, will redefine a holistic social spa experience for visitors and Miami locals alike. Guests will also be able to explore a tailored retail space, as well as engaging in a reimagination of the beloved Rose Bar, the famed original venue from the previous incarnation of Delano.
Finally, Delano is also set to establish a modern members’ club; a gathering place where culture, creativity and connection intersect, offering curated events, exclusive experiences and a sanctuary for Miami’s most discerning tastemakers and global travelers.
Art and Design
Reimagining the Delano, Elastic Architects honors its Art Deco origins with careful restoration of historical features inclusive of the exterior facade, terrazzo flooring, and the Delano logo. The original hexagonal columns, light wells and mezzanine bridge spanning the lobby, and fully restored Delano Pool and gardens have also been rebuilt.
Entering the lobby, guests will be immersed in the rich heritage of the hotel, greeted by a reimagining of the property’s classic white curtains lining the walls, incorporation of the original Salvador Dalí “Leda Chair” and the statement walk-way that connects the spiral staircase to second floor spaces as well as The Source. Auditory arrangements complimented by the animated hum of conversation accompany the unmistakably Delano atmosphere, where immersion is elevated further through the mild permeation of the beloved signature fragrance. Not to be missed are The Calvet Chair by Antoni Gaudí, Lenny Kravitz’s The Lucite Piano and Murano glass Narcisso chandeliers. Restorations will be complemented by imaginative recreations throughout the property, such as Rose Bar, the ultra-glamorous, cocktail destination nestled off the Lobby, as well as new elements including a fourth-floor pool exclusively accessible to guests and Club members.
The historic Delano Pool has been carefully restored to its signature elegance, reinforcing its status as the centerpiece of the hotel’s vibrant outdoor experience. In its modern iteration, the pool will serve as the centerpiece of the culinary destination Gigi Rigolatto, the crowning accent to the inviting and celebratory environment.
For its new chapter, Delano will nurture a refined spirit of community through its art program, one that positions local emerging creatives at the forefront for a global audience. Curated by artist and social historian Nicola Green and her studio, this strategic development and implementation of artwork in collaboration with the wider design team at the property gives guests an informed and distinctly Delano art collection. Featured artists include Nina Surel, Edouard Duval Carrie, Marielle Plaisir, Emma Ortiz and Natalie Galindo, Richard Rodriguez, Alejandra Aristizabal and Jeronimo Villa and Cornelius Tulloch & Alejandra Aristizabal, whose works are interspersed throughout the property.
Rooms and Suites
An impressive 171 guestrooms and suites, including Poolside Bungalows and the Penthouse Suites, make up Delano’s accommodations. Each room is characterized by expansive windows, uniquely configured to allow for sea views, extensive natural light, neutral color palettes and curved architectural detailing.
Poolside Bungalows will extend two stories of space available to guests – a living area that opens up to Gigi Rigolatto designed for entertainment and a more intimate upper level with additional residential amenities, including bedrooms and full baths displaying artworks by Cornelius Tulloch and Alejandra Aristizabal.
Delano will introduce two Penthouses to its room categories overtaking the 14th floor, The Ocean View Penthouse and City View Penthouse, two elegant, expansive spaces designed for both leisure and intimate, high-profile events. Each room features three king beds, large private terraces with lounges, private kitchens, and dining spaces ideal for entertaining. The City View Penthouse additionally includes a private bar across the private terrace, and both suites can be combined to form a full-floor 7-bedroom configuration.
Rose Bar
In addition to the two culinary concepts from the Paris Society, Delano Miami Beach will also incorporate a recreation of the iconic Rose Bar. This cocktail destination is located just off the lobby and accommodates eight seats, Murano glass Narciso chandeliers that have been fully restored to their original condition. The bar menu offers a fresh take on the glamour of 1980s nightlife, making Rose Bar a modern escape characterized by dusky lighting, sculptural textures and low-slung velvet seating. Rosso Lepanto marble accents enhance the space, emphasizing the distinctive burgundy tones of the bar.
Gigi Rigolatto
After Saint-Tropez, Paris, Dubai, Rome, and Bodrum, Gigi Rigolatto unveils its new seaside residence at Delano Miami Beach. Bringing its unmistakable Alla Grande way of life to the Atlantic coast, it celebrates Italian hospitality through cuisine, atmosphere, and effortless conviviality.
Spanning across Delano’s first floor, the entrance to the beach, the experience unfolds through a series of distinct yet seamlessly connected settings: an indoor restaurant with terrace seating, poolside tables, beach cabanas, sunbeds, and a concept store-all envisioned under the cohesive design direction of Franco-Mexican architect Hugo Toro and execution by Elastic Architects.
Guests are welcome to choose to be seated in three areas, an elegant indoor dining room, poolside tables or beach cabanas, each with a distinct ambiance ideal for gatherings and celebrations.
Within the interior of Delano, walls are adorned with mineral plaster, intricately carved wooden panels and accented with Sienna marble that complements the custom furniture. Thoughtfully considered design elements connect the three venues, including coral stone chosen for its exceptionally light hue, subtle placements of greenery, bohemian fringe detailing and eccentric tableware.
At the gateway between Delano and The Beach sits The Bellini Bar, a space for guests to sip the classic venetian cocktail alongside a condensed menu designed for oceanfront dining. The wider restaurant presents deceptively simplistic dishes such as Vitello Tonnato, handmade pastas including Spaghetti Limone e Caviale, Linguine alle Vongole, and Taglioni al Granchio. Sharing plates feature Gamberi Provenzale, grilled king prawns with Provençale sauce, Polpo alla Griglia, grilled octopus with Sorrento lemon mayo, and Tagliata di Manzo, sliced Wagyu beef with salsa verde and rosemary jus, each crafted with quality ingredients. Italian classics are reimagined for Miami’s dining scene, featuring highlights such as Fiori di Zucchine, fried zucchini flowers with ricotta and truffle, Cotoletta alla Parmigiana, a veal escalope prepared parmigiana style with mozzarella and basil, and Mezzi Rigatoni Vodka with spicy tomato sauce and stracciatella.
Gigi’s offerings are generous and an extension of the brand—defined by an ‘Art de recevoir’ as only Italy can imagine-where extravagance meets elegance, and every moment is composed with effortless generosity and style.
Beyond its culinary excellence and iconic lifestyle, Gigi Rigolatto extends the Gigi universe to retail with the Gigi Boutique, a concept store carrying a curation of clothing and accessories, homeware and wellness products, including the custom signature scent characterized by spicy, floral, leathery and powdery notes, creating an enchanting embodiment of Gigi’s charismatic spirit.
Mimi Kakushi
Mimi Kakushi, the acclaimed 1920s Osaka-inspired Japanese restaurant, known for its blend of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine, as well as its award-winning cocktail program, will be located on the fourth floor of the hotel, Mimi Kakushi will be accessible exclusively to the Delano Members Club members and hotel guests.
Designed by Elastic Architects in collaboration with Pirajean Lees, Mimi Kakushi’s setting is built on a rich narrative, authentically celebrating Oriental Art Deco by bringing the essence of the 1920s into the modern day. The space is layered with light, textures, contrasts, and natural materials, echoed through the setting’s subtle olfactory that sweeps through like a breeze under a Sakura tree. Wooden screens offer spatial flexibility, while the furniture, inspired by Japanese colonial influences, pairs with the lush decorative fabrics, hand-painted walls and luxurious table settings.
Mimi Kakushi’s menu fuses a taste of the East with the rhythm of the West. With a modern interpretation of Japanese classics, diners will enjoy hot and cold sharing plates of sashimi, sushi, and gyoza. Highlights include Wagyu Beef Tataki, Tuna Tartare and Caviar, Spicy Salmon Roll with spicy yuzu miso, and Wagyu and Foie Gras Gyoza with truffle soy butter. Bone Marrow with beef tartare and fried buns, Japanese Sweet Corn with chili ponzu butter and shiso, and Maitake Mushrooms with creamy truffle soy further underscore the menu’s balance of texture, precision, and playfulness.
Moving through the menu, you’ll discover signatures including the Miso Black Cod with citrus miso sauce and Wagyu Beef Striploin with chipotle soy glaze – satisfying the most discerning and yearning of appetites. As part of the restaurant’s poolside dining program, Donburi (Japanese rice bowls), including Wagyu Don, featuring grilled Wagyu beef, and Maguro Don, showcasing bluefin tuna sashimi with takuan and myoga. To finish the meal, desserts such as Hokkaido Cheesecake with strawberry and matcha sauce, Ispahan Custard with pickled lychee and raspberry, and Chocolate Mi-Cuit with peanut butter and coconut ice cream.
The most intriguing element of the Mimi Kakushi experience is its Kintarō cocktail menu, which takes its inspiration from the life and work of Japanese silent film icon Sessue Hayakawa. Each drink is dedicated to a role he brought to life on the silver screen, from the Nara Nara to represent his wartime espionage, a Botanist gin martini served within a block of ice at minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit, one of the coldest martinis in the world which is a striking martini encased in ice, or the Ah-Kee, a crisp rum cocktail with notes of sweet coffee and vanilla against a sharp citrus tang and matcha, alongside a curated selection of sake and Japanese whisky program. Blending both a flavor experience with a cinematic moment, every sip will transport guests into the silent era.
The auditory experience at Mimi Kakushi is deliberately crafted, drawing from the historic record bars and lounges of Japan and blended with contemporary electronic beats. The curation effortlessly merges the unique sounds of Osaka with the dynamic energy of Tokyo, highlighted by live performances interspersed for a truly elevated atmosphere.
Mimi Kakushi, Dubai’s leading destination for contemporary Japanese cuisine and mixology, ranks #36 on The World’s 50 Best Bars and holds the title of The Best Bar in the Middle East for the third consecutive year — the only venue in the United Arab Emirates to feature on this year’s list. Further cementing its position on the regional dining scene, Mimi Kakushi also ranks #35 on MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants 2026. Together, these accolades reflect the team’s continued commitment to delivering an exceptional Japanese food and beverage experience inspired by the spirit of 1920s Osaka.
