“I came, I saw, I loved,” is the guiding philosophy behind Miami’s newest culinary gem, AMAVI; an inviting Mediterranean dinner concept opening its doors July 10, and is now accepting reservations. Located at The Shops at Midtown Miami at 3252 NE 1st Ave, Suite 109, AMAVI brings life, love, and Levantine flavors to the neighborhood.

 

AMAVI Miami is brought to life by partners Jonathan Mansour, Igor Dze, Fallou Bathily, and Francesco Campoy, who have cultivated a hospitality vision that celebrates Mediterranean culture and Miami’s vibrant energy. “After such a successful year in New York City, we’re thrilled to bring our second AMAVI location to life in Miami,” said Francesco Campoy, Co-Owner of AMAVI Restaurants. “This magical city, full of beauty and energy, deserves an experience that reflects just that. Menu Highlights

AMAVI’s culinary excellence is driven by the vision of two powerhouse chefs. Executive Chef Alp, the creative force behind AMAVI New York, is bringing his expertise to Miami to help launch the new location alongside Executive Chef Tolga Mutlu. Chef Alp will ensure the same elevated standards and signature flair that made AMAVI New York a standout. Leading the Miami kitchen, Executive Chef Tolga Mutlu blends Mediterranean tradition with modern creativity. With experience in world-class kitchens and a palate shaped by the flavors of the Aegean Coast and Greek markets, Chef Tolga brings both authenticity and innovation to the table. His unique style harmoniously combines flavors from East and West, crafting a menu that captures the essence of this diverse culinary region. Together, Chefs Alp and Tolga are creating an unforgettable dining experience – rooted in the AMAVI philosophy, yet uniquely inspired by Miami’s unreplicable energy.

 

The menu showcases AMAVI classics made with locally sourced ingredients and fresh, handmade pasta prepared daily. Standout dishes include the signature Lamb Chops with pomegranate molasses and sumac, the showstopping Whole Branzino grilled tableside with Mediterranean herbs, and the indulgent Lobster Pasta tossed with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes. Locally caught lobster and seasonal fish highlight the best of coastal waters, while crisp farm-fresh produce brings dishes like the wood-grilled Caesar salad and Mezze platters bursting with house-made hummus, muhammara, and warm pita to life.

 

To complement the delicious cuisine, AMAVI’s thoughtfully curated cocktail program celebrates the brand’s signature classics while introducing fresh new creations crafted exclusively for Miami. Signature cocktails include the Espress Yourself with date and vanilla bean infused coffee liqueur the smoky Dolce Vento featuring mezcal and pineapple, and the refreshing Jardin Margerita with elderflower and hibiscus tincture. The result is a truly local and sustainable dining experience that evolves throughout the evening.

 

Design & Ambiance

The 4,000 square foot indoor/outdoor dining space transports guests to the Mediterranean using stone finishes, tall archways, and gold metallic mesh netting draped from the ceiling, serving as the focal point. Guests enter the indoor dining area to find an elevated center walkway that will light up during late-night hours. To the right is the 33-foot expansive bar area, made with giant brown natural stone, welcoming guests with its elegant ambiance. Lush greenery wraps around the outdoor dining area, offering a sense of privacy and subtly shielding the area from public view. An eye-catching accent wall in the outdoor dining area utilizes soft light that bounces off hand-troweled Venetian plaster walls and reclaimed brass fixtures, complementing the greenery and adding depth and visual interest to the space.

 

AMAVI transforms throughout the evening, offering distinct experiences as Miami’s energy shifts. Early hours welcome young professionals with curated happy hour offerings, while dinner service creates an intimate atmosphere with soft lighting as guests savor Mediterranean flavors. As the night progresses, AMAVI reveals its true Miami spirit. The elevated center walkway illuminates live entertainment, transforming the restaurant into a nightlife destination where DJs spin and guests enjoy late-night bites and beverages under the dramatic gold metallic mesh ceiling. Each element of the design reflects AMAVI’s dedication to offering a truly immersive experience from sunset to after-hours.
