Miami’s Mango Obsession Returns: Fairchild Announces 32nd Annual Mango Festival

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden returns with its 32nd annual Mango Festival, home to one of the largest living mango collections in the world spanning more than 400 varieties. This year’s festival is the most ambitious yet — debuting the Mango Fruit Club, peak-season mangos hand-picked from The Fairchild Farm available by the box or 10-week subscription; the Mango Brunch featuring South Florida’s most celebrated chefs; two new premium lounge experiences in Mango Fresco and Mango Caliente; and The Mango Spectrum, an interactive mango, spirits, and chocolate tasting. Thousands of fresh mangos and rare mango trees will be available for purchase, alongside tastings of global varieties and a full day of live music, local vendors, and family-friendly programming.

Mango Fruit Club

For the first time, Mango Festival reaches beyond the Garden gates with the debut of the Mango Fruit Club, where Fairchild’s experts personally select the finest mangos from 375 varieties grown across nearly 550 trees at The Fairchild Farm in the Redlands. Available as a one-time purchase or full 10-week seasonal subscription, each 10-pound box is packed within 24 hours of ordering and shipped nationwide via FedEx. Orders can be placed at orders.fairchildgarden.org, at the Fairchild Gift Shop, or in person at the Mango Festival. Pre-orders have been live since April 1.

About the Festival

The Mango Festival reflects more than 30 years of Fairchild’s commitment to tropical fruit conservation, during which more than 20,000 mango trees have been distributed across the region. Rooted in a legacy dating to 1889 when Dr. David Fairchild introduced mango to the United States, that mission continues today through Fairchild’s Tropical Fruit Program — now in its fourth decade — preserving one of the world’s most significant mango collections.
