Miami Swim Week® – The Shows returns to Mondrian South Beach from May 25–31, 2026, marking a bold new chapter under new management. Visionary entrepreneur and fashion industry veteran Sean Rashid steps in as CEO, alongside Elizabeth Claros as Fashion Event Director. The 2026 edition ushers in an elevated era of global designer participation, enhanced production, and expanded programming, positioning the platform at a new level beyond previous seasons in both scale and execution.
Activations officially begin on May 25, when Miami Swim Week® – The Shows kicks off with daytime events and an open model casting sponsored by Strawberry Moon. From that moment forward, the week unfolds as a citywide celebration of swim and resort wear, featuring runway presentations, daytime activations, wellness programming, panel discussions, and satellite showcases taking place both at the Mondrian and at select venues across Miami.
This season will feature 48–49 designers representing the UK, Colombia, Holland, Italy, Brazil, Australia, China, and additional countries to be announced, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to elevating both emerging talent and established international brands. The Mondrian South Beach will serve as the central runway hub, hosting individual designer showcases as well as curated group shows, while additional satellite productions throughout Miami will highlight independent presentations and collaborative showcases.
On Wednesday, May 27 and Thursday, May 28, the organization will honor the life and legacy of Founder Moh Ducis, who unexpectedly passed just months ago. A short film celebrating his life will be presented prior to the evening runway showcases, accompanied by a live violinist performance as the video plays. The tribute will open both evenings before presentations begin.
Wednesday’s runway programming will open with a presentation by Ema Savahl Couture benefiting the Little Lighthouse Foundation, with additional designers participating in the showcase to be announced. Throughout the week, evening productions will reflect the largest and most technically advanced staging in the event’s history, featuring the largest LED screen ever utilized at a fashion show in the United States—surpassed only in Europe by leading luxury houses such as Balenciaga and Christian Dior. Amplified production elements will include immersive LED integration, expanded lighting design, laser effects, elevated sound engineering, and a DJ booth experience, bringing the runway environment to an entirely new level.
Beyond the runway, the expanded SwimFit and the Wellness Club series will take place across four days, featuring two on-site activations at the Mondrian and two off-site wellness experiences at premier Miami locations. The week will also include curated fashion panels and industry talks spotlighting innovation, global trends, and the evolving swimwear marketplace.
On May 30 and May 31, the debut of the Casa Hammock Showroom will take place within the Tower Suites at the Mondrian South Beach. The showroom will feature participating runway designers in a direct-to-buyer setting, allowing buyers, journalists, and stylists to engage with collections up close. The showroom will additionally serve as a curated gifting lounge for buyers. Sponsor details will be announced shortly.
With enhanced ownership leadership, elevated global participation, expanded wellness and thought-leadership programming, and production at an unprecedented scale, Miami Swim Week® – The Shows 2026 signals a transformative evolution for the platform and reinforces its position as a premier swim and resortwear fashion destination in the United States.
