Miami Light Project Here and Now 2012

Miami Light Project is proud to present Here & Now: 2012, A Knight Emerging Artists Series, featuring new work by Luis Cuevas, Ivonne Batanero, Carlota Pradera & Priscilla Marrero and Natasha Tsakos February 2-11, 2012 at The Light Box at Goldman Warehouse.

This year’s group of commissioned artists represents broad sampling of the exciting and diverse talents in Miami’s field of emerging independent artists. From high tech programs like Natasha Tsakos’ Omen which utilizes 3D Mapping technology to tell the history of mankind, to Ivonne Batanero’s exploration of terror and nightmares through dance, and Carlota Pradera and Priscilla Marrero’s dance theatre work Aquarius Juice investigating self image and plastic surgery to Luis Cuevas’ debut dance work; this year’s Here & Now commissioned artist promise engaging and provocative new performance work.
