Best Miami Events Happening This October 2026
Looking for the best things to do in Miami in October 2026? The month brings major concerts, cultural events, food, art, and Halloween celebrations across Miami and Miami Beach. Karol G, Miami Carnival, Billboard Latin Music Week, and Buena Vista Social Club lead the calendar, while Frost Science’s new Pixar exhibition and Halloween events add plenty more to the mix. Over 40 events run October 1–31, including free events.
October still feels like Hispanic Heritage Month in Miami, and it should. The celebration runs through October 15, with Buena Vista Social Club at the Arsht Center through October 4, Miami Carnival’s Parade of Bands on October 11, and Billboard Latin Music Week October 19–22. Add Karol G at Hard Rock Stadium, the Pixar exhibition at Frost Science, and Halloween taking over Wynwood and Lincoln Road, and October has plenty going on. These are the events I’d have on your radar this month.

Miami weather in October 2026
October brings slightly cooler temperatures to Miami, with average highs around 86°F and lows around 74°F. It’s still part of hurricane season and the tail end of the rainy season, so tropical weather and sudden rain can occasionally affect outdoor plans, especially early in the month. Rain generally becomes less frequent as October goes on, and cooler evenings make outdoor events, beach days, and nights out more comfortable. Keep an eye on the forecast for outdoor events, but October is generally a great time to be in Miami.
