April 19: Earth Day 2025 Clean-Up
Connect with nature and contribute to environmental preservation through a community cleanup event at one of Miami’s most historically significant coastal areas. The Earth Day 2025 Clean-Up will take place on Saturday, April 19, at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. This collaborative effort, co-hosted by Miami Waterkeeper, Historic Virginia Key Beach Park, BLUE Missions, Ballyhoo Media, The Everglades Foundation, Latino Outdoors and PLANTA, begins with a beach yoga session led by Latino Outdoors, followed by a marine debris cleanup that continues until noon.
April 19: Kid’s Earth Day
Celebrate Earth Day with a nature-inspired morning designed for young learners at Coral Reef Park. Kid’s Earth Day, taking place on Saturday, April 19, offers children the opportunity to engage with the environment through creative and mindful activities. Led by educator Karin Ayuni, the program includes story time, an art activity and guided exercises that encourage children to connect with the natural world around them. The event is open to children for a fee of $22 per participant.
