Miami Beach’s dollar-an-hour parking deal is back for a second summer, running August 1 through October 31, 2026, at every municipal lot, garage, and street meter citywide. It works through the ParkMobile app only, capped at three discounted hours per session and 45 discounted hours total over the three months. Enter your zone number, grab the promo code, and you’re parked for a dollar an hour.

How it works
Open ParkMobile, enter the zone number posted at the meter or garage, and a promo code pops up in-app. You only need to enter it once per visit if you’re staying in a zone with a shared rate. There’s no code to remember, no coupon, nothing to show an attendant — it’s baked into the app once you’ve entered the zone.
Feed the meter through the app, not the kiosk. The physical kiosks and standard meter rates aren’t discounted; this only applies inside ParkMobile.
Why it’s back
This ran for the first time last summer. The logic is the same: August through October is the slow season on the beach, and the city would rather you park cheap and spend money at a restaurant or a spa than skip the trip entirely because a garage runs $8 an hour.
Worth knowing
- It covers the whole city, not just South Beach — North Beach and Mid-Beach zones are included too.
- Sessions stack. If you need more than three hours, start a new session once the first expires rather than trying to extend one.
- Residents with existing parking permits or programs aren’t affected — this is specifically the pay-by-app visitor rate.
Three months of dollar parking is as good a reason as any to actually park on the beach instead of circling for a spot or Ubering in for twenty minutes and leaving.
