This December, Shake Shack returns to Miami Art Week for its second-ever culinary and artist collaboration, blending bold flavors and creative artistry to celebrate the city’s vibrant cultural spirit. Teaming up with award-winning Chef Niven Patel of Ghee Miami and renowned Miami-based muralist Brian Butler, this unique collaboration promises a feast for both the palate and the eyes.
On Tuesday, December 3, Shake Shack’s Executive Chef John Karangis and Chef Niven Patel will join forces at the newly opened Ghee Wynwood to host an exclusive, seated tasting event. This Miami Art Week-only menu combines Shake Shack’s signature elevated flair with Chef Patel’s distinctive Indian flavors. With three seatings available for lunch (1 seating option) and dinner (2 seating options), the experience will highlight Shake Shack’s commitment to quality ingredients and Ghee’s farm-to-table ethos, featuring ingredients sourced from Rancho Patel, Chef Niven’s two-acre farm in Homestead.
“I’m always excited to collaborate with chefs I admire, and partnering with Chef Niven and Ghee Miami has been an incredible experience. Together, we set out to create a vibrant, delicious menu that truly embodies the essence of Shake Shack, Ghee Miami, and Miami Art Week. Our process started with creative brainstorming, followed by a full day of cooking, sampling, and tasting, culminating in a perfect menu perfect for Miami.” said John Karangis, Executive Chef and VP of Culinary Innovation, Shake Shack.
Highlights of the menu include:
- Chai Lemonade including Chai-infused Shack lemonade with lime garnish
- Chai Tequila Gimlet featuring Tequila Blanco, chai-infused Shack lemonade, lime bitters and lime garnish
- ShackBurger Arayes made with naan crisp, lettuce, tomato, “spiced” ShackSauce, and American cheese, cilantro chutney, and diced Shack cherry peppers

“I’m grateful to have the opportunity to partner up with such a trailblazing brand such as Shake Shack. The joy of working with Chef John and creating a perfectly balanced meal with the best of Ghee and Shake Shack is priceless. The carefully curated art by Brian is the cherry on top, celebrating a beautiful culinary experience of food, drinks, art, and newfound friendships. This is the perfect first collaboration for Ghee Wynwood, and what better time than Miami Art Basel”.
Both Ghee and Shake Shack have been long-time fans of Butler’s striking and approachable designs found across the Miami art scene – including murals at Shake Shack’s Aventura Mall and Coral Gables locations. Upon kicking off this partnership, Butler worked closely alongside the chefs during menu research and development, drawing inspiration for a design that celebrates their culinary collaboration.
Butler took his unique style to create a visual marriage of the two brands featuring nods to the premium ingredients and culture of both cuisines. Guests will not only be immersed in Butler’s artwork throughout their dining experience but will also be transported to an Indian-inspired spice market celebration after dessert. Here, they’ll be given a custom masala dabba spice tin adorned with Butler’s designs and filled with fresh take-home spice blends from the chef team. Inspired by Ghee’s iconic tile designs found throughout the restaurant, attendees will have the opportunity to paint their own tile in Butler’s distinctive style, creating a lasting addition to a commemorative mosaic wall. Guests are invited to take part in this experience while enjoying a drink, live music and a meet & greet with the artist.
Tickets for the lunch experience are priced at $45 per person, featuring a craft cocktail, a four-course meal, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages, and an immersive art experience by Brian Butler himself. The dinner experience, priced at $60 per person, includes a four-course meal, dessert, non-alcoholic beverages, and the art experience—all included.
