Saturday, May 25: New exhibit, Journey to Space launches at Frost Science 

Guests are invited to experience the opening of Frost Science‘s latest rotating exhibit, Journey to Space. New exhibit, The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press

Re-launching Memorial Day Weekend to kick off the summer, Superblue invites guests behind the curtain of iconic street photographer JR’s Miami mural, found on the facade of Superblue. Sit in a photobooth, snap a picture, and enter The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press, created for Superblue, where you’ll walk through a portal-like door embedded into The Chronicles of Miami mural on the building’s façade. Once inside, visitors find themselves inside the mechanical world crucial to JR’s artistic practice. After taking their portraits in one of four individual photo booths, visitors enter the interior of an oversized, whirring printing press where their portraits escape from the rollers and float to the ground. The Machine Behind the Art: Inside JR’s Printing Press is one of world-renowned artist JR’s most significant immersive works to date.
