Miami’s beloved plant-based restaurant Love Life Cafe is coming home. On Friday, June 28, the award-winning vegan eatery will reopen its doors at 2616 NW 5th Avenue—the original Wynwood location where it first captured hearts (and appetites). The return marks a full-circle moment for co-founders Veronica Menin and Diego Tosoni, who launched Love Life in Wynwood nearly a decade ago and helped shape the city’s plant-based scene.

Since its inception, Love Life Cafe has been dedicated to serving delicious, nourishing meals made with fresh, mostly local ingredients in a restaurant committed to sustainability and community. This all remains the same as the husband and wife team have always thought of their business as more than just a restaurant – it’s a hub for health, happiness and culinary creativity.

One of the most meaningful parts of this reopening is the fact that the entire original team is back. “We’re incredibly proud to have our full team back with us, they are the best team we could ask for” says Veronica Menin. “They’ve been with us through it all, and they’re just as excited as we are to be back in this space.”

Love Life’s reopening comes with a few new highlights:

  • New Menu Additions like a crave-worthy Reuben Sandwich and a Wild Mushroom Sandwich

  • A Heartier Pizza Program thanks to a brand-new pizza oven

  • New Pastries + Dressings, housemade and fresh every day

  • Protein, Front and Center with high-protein dishes now marked by icons and labeled with protein content, challenging the misconception that plant-based meals lack protein

  • Conscious Kids Menu & Catering, a brand-new kids “happy meal” box and plant-based kids’ catering service for parties, now officially launching after several successful pilot events

  • Curated Beer & Wine Menu selected to pair with the plant-based menu

  • Locally Sourced Organic Produce featured across the menu, in line with the restaurant’s dedication to quality and mindful sourcing

In addition to the new offerings, the restaurant will continue offering fan favorites including their well-rounded menu of plant-based delights including known and loved classics in vegan form – tacos, empanadas, sushi, burgers, bowls and much more.

Inside, the space has gotten thoughtful updates and now features a few personal touches—Copacabana tilework inspired by Veronica’s Brazilian roots and custom-built booths handmade by Diego—all set within the familiar walls and maintaining the casual, welcoming vibe that made the original location a neighborhood favorite.

“It feels amazing to be back in our original home,” says Diego Tosoni. “This is where Love Life started, and we’re grateful for the chance to bring it back to life and keep growing with the Miami community.”

Love Life Cafe will open on Saturday, June 28 and is located at 2616 NW 5th Street in Wynwood. The restaurant is open daily from 9AM until 10PM. For more information, visit www.lovelifecafe.com or follow on social @lovelife.cafe.
