Amazónico, the acclaimed Latin American inspired restaurant, bar and lounge, will launch its highly anticipated U.S. debut in Miami this fall. Created in Madrid in 2016 by Sandro Silva and Marta Seco, and expanded through a partnership with D.ream International in 2017, the brand is now firmly established in London, Dubai and Monte-Carlo. Its arrival in Brickell brings Amazónico’s blend of cuisine, music and design influenced by 1930s Brazil to the heart of Miami, introducing a new destination for dining, nightlife and culture in the city.
“Miami was the natural next step,” say co-founders Sandro Silva and Marta Seco. “We’ve always felt like Amazónico was made for this city. The cultural energy, the people, the rhythm of life, all align perfectly with what we’ve built.”
Spanning three floors, Amazónico Miami offers a multi-sensory experience under one roof. The restaurant will be located on the ground floor, divided between indoor & open-air spaces, anchored by a stage that will feature live bands every night. Additionally, the restaurant will feature an open kitchen, immersing guests in the culinary experience.
As you ascend through the venue, the energy intensifies. Up the mirrored staircase to the second floor, guests will find the Bar & Lounge where a stage will host resident DJs and percussionists. At the bar, bold cocktails draw from exotic ingredients and rare spirits, designed with the same intent and precision as the food below including a refreshing Sangria Blanca, an herbaceous Amazonegroni, a spicy Palomito, and the Peacock Spritz served in a whimsical, signature peacock glass. This second level is also home to the sushi counter for those seeking an intimate dining experience with Amazónico’s unique Crudos, Nigiris, Makis, and more, as well as a private dining space for up to 14 guests.
A standout feature of the Miami location will be the third-floor rooftop, where the city skyline glows above guests as they take in The Magic City. Offering a more seductive take on the rainforest experience while hiding in the canopy above Brickell, the rooftop will offer a full bounty of Amazónico’s full cocktail menu.
Opening later this year, a new nightlife destination will debut inside the third floor. Inspired by its Monte Carlo counterpart and designed as a luxurious late-night hideaway, this chic upstairs venue pairs jungle-inspired interiors with Miami’s vibrant after-dark energy. While separate from the restaurant, it remains rooted in the same spirit.
The culinary program, curated by Sandro Silva and rooted in Brazilian traditions, draws on ancestral ingredients reinterpreted in refined, shareable formats. The menu includes highlights such as Ensalada Amazónica, mango, avocado, confit tomato, kalamansi, citrus; Arroz Chaufa, red, black, and white whole grain rice, duck breast, and a fried egg; Lubina Al Espeto, line-caught sea bass cooked over open fire. The selection of meat dishes include regional signatures such as Picanha Rodizio, Entraña, and Wagyu de Bife. Alongside newer dishes designed specifically for Miami such as Corvina, yellowfin bass, artichokes, and a spicy warm broth; Centollo con Caviar, Alaska king crab with summer leaves and nikkei dressing; and Guacho de Langostinos, black tiger prawns with semolina and coconut bisque.
Curated by Group Sommelier Vincent Pastorello, the wine list at Amazónico Miami is a journey through heritage and exploration. Honoring the restaurant’s roots, it celebrates the great wine regions of Spain alongside the rich viticultural diversity of South America, with standout bottles from Argentina, Chile, and beyond. In tribute to its vibrant Miami home, the program also embraces a global perspective, featuring iconic French appellations and notable New World selections from the United States.
The design, led by Lázaro Rosa Violán, the creative force behind all Amazónico interiors, is central to the experience and in Miami, it reaches new heights. The space channels its lush, mysterious spirit through deep greens, volcanic stone, dark tropical woods, and woven textures. Architectural references draw from Latin American modernism, including the work of Oscar Niemeyer and Lina Bo Bardi. Floating forms, curved lines and open-air layouts create a sense of flow between interior and exterior. Lázaro Rosa Violán’s designs make large spaces feel intimate, creating the perfect space for connectivity and conversation.
Amazónico Miami will open in late September 2025 at 800 Brickell Ave, Miami, FL 33131 @amazonico.mia. Reservations will go live in September via https://www.amazonicorestauran
