Paying homage to its rich history, Fontainebleau Miami Beach proudly announces the reinvention of the hotel’s original coffee and patisserie shop, Chez Bon Bon. Now open in the former Solo space, Chez Bon Bon offers a complete sensory experience, including live-action stations where guests can watch, smell and taste confectionary magic, purchase gourmet grab-and-go savory selections, patisseries, and custom-order cakes. Visiting tourists and Miamians alike can savor the sweet life with the highest quality fare and confections, created on-site daily and prepared for on the go convenience.

With the opportunity to experience the glamour of the golden era through pastry and a casual, chic ambiance, guests can now enjoy an indulgent menu of assorted sweet and savory dishes. The shop will offer gourmet chocolates, delectable specialty cakes, pastries, gelatos, cupcakes, light bites and quick lunch items among the alluring blends provided by Los Angeles coffee house, Lamill. Visitors can immerse themselves into the iconic hotel’s unique flavor through “Black Velvet,” the signature house coffee roast.

Guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with mouth-watering delights in the divine chocolate selection by award-winning Executive Pastry Chef Jordi Panisello. Live-action stations will allow shop-goers and passersby to marvel at the creation of exquisite quality truffles, pralines, bonbons, fudge and more, prepared daily in a variety of signature flavors and styles. All of Chez Bon Bon’s offerings are blended, designed and crafted in the chocolate shop of the hotel’s impressive heart-of-house food and beverage operations that is overseen by Panisello.

For those celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a treat, resident Cake Artist Angela Louise Encio has created a wide range of confections with designs that incorporate modern and creative elements. Guests can make an appointment with Encio for custom cakes with messaging, unique themes and one-of-a-kind flavors or they can take advantage of ready-to-go cakes, perfect for last-minute dinner parties or get-togethers.

Renowned architect David Mexico, known for his innovative projects such as Crystals at CityCenter Las Vegas, designed the coffee shop drawing from European inspiration. Chez Bon Bon will feature a warm and inviting style while evoking a contemporary feel that complements the lobby and retail area of Fontainebleau. The dynamic design touts the hotel’s history and glamour of the 1950’s with modern day elegance and style. The packaged retail goods available in-store received equal attention with the chic wrapping designed by branding guru Peter Arnell. Modern font is paired with the signature Morris Lapidus bowtie design that can be found on the hotel lobby floor to create packaging that is classic Fontainebleau.
