Halloween in Miami has room for everyone. We put together the Halloween list we’d actually send a friend: the free block party worth showing up early for, the museum event that wraps before bedtime, and the restaurant parties worth paying the cover for. Everything is organized by what you’re actually looking for, and we’ll keep updating it through October as more 2026 details come in.
Miami Guide Take
Halloween in Miami centers on Wynwood’s HalloWYN block party and the Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon as the two biggest confirmed free/ticketed events for 2026, both on October 31 and October 24 respectively. Restaurants and nightclubs across Brickell, Miami Beach, and Wynwood run their own ticketed or reservation-only parties the same weekend, typically announced in late September. Families have the most options: museum bashes, trunk-or-treats, and daytime festivals run the two weekends before Halloween itself.
Free Block Parties & Trick-or-Treating
Lincoln Road Halloween Block Party
Lincoln Road, Miami Beach · Free
Lincoln Road gets a little ridiculous on Halloween, in the best way. More than 50,000 people typically turn out for the annual party, now in its 31st year, and by 7 p.m., all eight blocks become one giant costume parade.
Bring the kids early. From 5:30–7:30 p.m., there’s family-friendly trick-or-treating along the road, with candy stations, crafts, and face painting at the Euclid Oval and 1100 Block. After that, the adults take over. Expect zombies, superheroes, vampires and enough creative costumes to make Lincoln Road feel like one very long catwalk.
Grab a table outside at one of the restaurants or bars along the promenade and settle in. After dark, live music, performers, and DJs — including the Wonderama Band — keep the party moving until 2 a.m. while the crowds pass by, making this one of those nights where people-watching is half the point.

FAQ
When is Halloween in Miami 2026?
Halloween itself is Saturday, October 31, 2026. Most restaurant and nightlife parties run that Friday and Saturday, while family and free events are spread across the two weekends before.
What’s free to do for Halloween in Miami?
HalloWYN in Wynwood is the largest confirmed free event, plus most family-oriented events (museum bashes, trunk-or-treats) charge only standard admission or nothing at all. See our Free Block Parties and Family-Friendly Events sections above.
Do I need a reservation for restaurant Halloween parties?
Yes — most restaurant Halloween parties in Miami are reservation-only or ticketed, and popular spots (Queen, Marion, Faena) sell out their seatings in advance. Book directly through the venue once 2026 details are confirmed.
Is Halloween on Lincoln Road still happening?
Yes — the 31st annual Halloween Block Party runs Saturday, October 31, 2026, with trick-or-treating from 5–7 p.m. and the main party through 1 a.m. It’s free and open to the public.
What about Día de los Muertos events?
Several venues, including Toro Toro, run Día de los Muertos programming that extends into early November, separate from Halloween weekend proper. See our Día de los Muertos section.
What’s the weather like in Miami in October?
October in Miami runs warm and humid — expect highs in the mid-to-upper 80s°F and lows around 75°F, with water temps still in the low 80s. It’s technically still hurricane season and the tail end of the rainy season, so afternoon storms are common; check the forecast the week of any outdoor event like HalloWYN or the Half Marathon. Costumes with layers are a bad idea — plan for heat, not chill.
