The third annual IGNITE Broward, an immersive, family-friendly art experience will be taking place this month from January 25-29, 2023. The free, five-day collaborative series, produced and exhibited by Mad Arts and The Broward Cultural Division, will be doubling in size to showcase 11 spectacular light-based installations created by top national and international artists and designers from France, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The exciting event will illuminate Broward’s most exciting destinations including Mad Arts in Dania Beach, the Museum of Discovery and Science and Esplanade Park  in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and will immerse attendees in a variety of thought provoking and captivating exhibits that defy reality as well as give them the opportunity to witness and observe the transformation of light and expression across a range of objects and sculptures.

 

The indoor/outdoor event will feature large-scale 3D projection mapping and interactive light sculptures and installations exhibits at Mad Arts in Dania Beach (481 S. Federal Highway)daily from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m with extended viewing until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and exhibits at in Downtown Fort Lauderdale that will run nightly from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
