FilmGate Miami announces the return of FilmGate Interactive 12, running March 18–22, 2026, and transforming Miami Beach into a living, breathing canvas of immersive art, technology, and storytelling.
Now in its twelfth year, FilmGate Interactive has become one of the world’s most daring and future-facing festivals dedicated to immersive and interactive storytelling.
“FilmGate Interactive is where imagination meets invention,” says Diliana Alexander, Executive Director and Festival Producer. “We’re crashing the borders between art, tech, and the next wave of creators — and doing it Miami-style: wild, luminous, and unapologetically global.”
The 2026 festival theme, “Symbiotic Synergies: AI, Nature & the Conscious Revolution,” explores the evolving dance between human creativity, artificial intelligence, and the natural world. Leading into Miami Music Week, the event merges electronic energy with cutting-edge creative experimentation— from projection-mapped architecture and AI-powered performance art to multisensory dome concerts and surreal installations that respond to audience emotion and movement. This year’s creators include artists and studios from France, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the U.S.
