COCO Miami, Miami’s newest destination for chic, sophisticated cuisine, is set to open on Wednesday, January 11 in the heart of Miami’s Design District, the city’s cultural epicenter to luxury fashion, cutting-edge architecture and fine dining.

Located at 8 NE 41st St., COCO‘s 2,800-square-foot dining room comfortably seats 156 guests with a handful of seats at the bar. An award-winning design firm has crafted a luxurious modern take on Miami’s affinity for Art Deco by showcasing ebony, ivory and jeweled tones to create a sophisticated ambiance. Guests are greeted by an elegant dining room revealing marble floors, bespoke crystal chandeliers, pearl garlands, marble tabletops and illuminated agate sculptures.

COCO will present an array of nightly live entertainment, from live bands to dancers, DJs, singers and more with a unique sound system which enables guests to enjoy at their preferred volume thanks to individual controls at designated seating areas.

COCO will be led by General Manager Richard Contell and Executive Chef Jose Diaz. While Contell discovered the world of gastronomy in restaurant positions around the world, Diaz trained under Michelin-starred chefs, where he specialized in European and American cuisine.

“We were inspired by the timeless and revolutionary elegance of Coco Chanel and are thrilled to bring this innovative experience to the Design District,” Contell said. “I believe you have to genuinely care for people to be truly hospitable and efficient in anticipating their needs. This is what we plan to bring to our guests at COCO – exquisite food, elegant and sharp service, and the feeling of being home.”

COCO boasts a thoughtful menu that showcases European tradition by using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The main menu presents a simple selection of only the finest dishes, including crudos, pastas, meats, shareables and more.
