As International Beer Day approaches (Friday, August 5), Miami hotspots are joining the global celebration of beer with specially curated brews and promotions, including EST.33 Thai Craft Kitchen & Brewery and Dogfish Head Miami along with international eateries Uchi, Chotto Matte, Negroni Midtown and Fratelli La Bufala. Below you’ll find the ultimate list of local favorites where beer aficionados can raise a toast and rejoice in the greatness of beer worldwide.

 

EST.33 Thai Craft Kitchen and Brewery

Traditional Thai cuisine meets American barbeque and booze at EST.33 Thai Craft Kitchen & Brewery, located on the fourth floor of Brickell City Center. The brewery features premium local and imported ingredients for exciting flavor combinations for beer-lovers to enjoy, including Hallo Schatzi ($7), a traditional Berliner sour wheat ale, keep the base or get it flavored with in-house prepared syrups: mango, passionfruit, guava or kaffir lime; Brickell Brown 2.0 ($7), smooth, clean and easy-drinking Brown Lager with freshly roasted coffee from the local Great Circle coffee roasters; Legend Lager ($7), favored in Thailand for its golden body, it’s a refreshing blend of malted barley and noble hops from Europe; and Beer Flights ($14), guest selection of four beers.

Dogfish Head Miami

Located in Miami’s eclectic Wynwood district, Dogfish Head Miami offers beer enthusiasts an exploration of off-centered brews to indulge in. Guests can enjoy a variety of inspired brews including 60 Minute IPA (6% ABV), recognized by the Wallstreet Journal as the most balanced IPA on the market, this brew has a hoppy with moderate bitterness and crisp finish; SoFlo Pils (5.5% ABV), a Dogfish Head Exclusive, golden liquid sojourn into classic floral and spicy aromas with a hint of citrus and tropical fruit flavors of South Florida; Bosh Blonde (5% ABV), brewed with Florida-grown oranges, fresh-squeezed sugar cane juice – and Chris Bosh; and  Florida Peach Marmalade (5% ABV), a fruited sour ale featuring rich peach and lemon zest flavors up front, with marshmallow and nutmeg to follow.

Uchi

Uchi, located in the heart of Wynwood, is a modern Japanese restaurant presenting a non-traditional take through its delicately designed menu and vast beer selections. For beer aficionados that prefer a more upscale celebration, Uchi offers brews such as Coedo “Beniaka” ($14), sweet potato amber; Parish “Ghost in the Machine” ($14), double IPA; Monopolio “Clara” ($8.50), lager; and Einbecker ($8), a non-alcoholic beer alternative. As a bonus, guests can enjoy the Japanese brews, Sapporo Premium and Sapporo Light, for $6 during Happy Hour from 5 – 6:30 p.m

Negroni Midtown

Midtown Miami’s favorite local hotspot, Negroni, features a diverse international comfort food selection with a fusion taste from Peru to Tokyo. Celebrate International Beer Day at the restaurant’s elegant indoor bar, an urban choice in the high-ceiling dining room in which guests can cheers to beer with local brews such as Spanglish Veza Sur, Latin lager and Mala Yerba Veza Sur, IPA; or Big Wave, golden Hawaiian ale, for $6 during Happy Hour from 4 – 7 p.m.

Chotto Matte Miami

Chotto Matte is a global restaurant brand that perfectly fuses Japanese and Peruvian culinary traditions to deliver the very best of authentic and innovative Nikkei cuisine.
