Boia De

The beloved restaurant from chef couple Luciana Giangrandi and Alex Meyer, semifinalists for Best Chef: South in the 2020 James Beard Awards, will be hosting a special Christmas Day brunch in collaboration with El Bagel. Brunch will be offered from 11AM until 3PM inside the restaurant with a limited number of outdoor tables. Outdoors, there will also be space for guests to hang out and enjoy some bubbly and mini bagels with spreads. The full menu, which is sure to include some epic, not-to-be-missed bagel sandwiches and creative spins on brunch favorites, will be revealed closer to Christmas Day. Jaya at The Setai

Jaya at The Setai, helmed by Executive Chef Vijayudu Veena, will be offering a la carte dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with holiday-inspired dishes alongside Jaya favorites like dim sum, tandoor & curry and other signature Asian and Indian specialities. Christmas Specials include Seared Foie Gras ($36) with ginger caramel glaze, sautéed apples and toasted brioche; Kushi Oysters ($32) served with ginger cucumber foam, apple and caviar; Lamb Chops ($52) with truffle mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and lamb jus; Roasted Turkey ($48) with sweet potato confit, green beans, cranberry relish and sage gravy; and a Hot Chocolate Cup for dessert with dark chocolate cake, eggnog mousse, milk, dark chocolate and toasted marshmallow.

The mischievous elves at Kush Hospitality Group (KHG) are back for the annual Noche Noche Buena charity celebration held at La Cocina Cocteleria. The event is taking place on Thursday, December 23, KHG’s super-Hialeah watering hole in the Leah Arts District, the night before the night before Christmas eve. The festive evening, kicking off at 6PM, will feature everything that makes Christmas in Miami unlike any other. Sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, event highlights include a holiday market from local vendors; live plenero music, complimentary plates of lechon asado (while supplies last); domino tables on the bar’s outdoor patio; cigars and more. MILA Restaurant

NYE:

Located in the heart of South Beach, MILA Restaurant  transports diners on a culinary journey throughout the shores of the Mediterranean and Japan. To ring in the new year, MILA is offering a two-hour dining experience “izakaya” style, meaning dishes are meant to be shared amongst the table. The MILA team introduces the bold signature flavors of the Mediterranean and Japanese culture, including premium wagyu, black rock lava grilled prime filet, beef short rib ‘kalbi’, foie gras and uni diver scallops, shawarma spiced wagyu gyoza, MediterrAsian makis and more. Their New Year’s Eve first seating between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will be offered at $250 indoor for a prefix menu and $300 outdoors. MILA is celebrating Christmas with a special dish that embodies their luxurious “MediterrAsian” concept. They are serving “Hirame,” the Japanese term for Summer Flounder, imported from the volcanic South Korean island of Jeju. Flavored with dill for freshness, mustard seed for aroma and nuttiness, and fig vinegar for a bittersweet bite, the light fish is perfectly balanced. Is a dish ever complete without Caviar? The Hirame is topped with fish eggs and bright edible flowers for garnish that make the dish as beautiful as it is delicious.

Rusty Pelican, known for its dazzling waterfront views, is inviting families to a fabulous Christmas Day feast on December 25.
