In honor of the Chinese New Year, Hakkasan, the AAA Four Diamond award-winning modern Chinese restaurant located at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, will celebrate the Year of the Goat with a sumptuous family-style prix-fixe menu to ring in Lunar Year 4712.

 

Priced at $128 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity), the four-course, family style menu will be available fromWednesday, February 18, 2015 through Saturday, February 28, 2015. The official Chinese New Year celebration will take place on Friday, February 20, 2015 and will include entertainment and a traditional Dragon Dance, said to bring good tidings for the New Year, which will begin at Bleau Bar in the lobby, at 9:30 p.m. and end at the restaurant.

 

To start, guests will enjoy Fish Salmon Yusheng, a traditional dish considered a symbol of prosperity, consisting of strips of raw fish mixed with shredded vegetables and a variety of sauces. Diners will also receive Hakkasan’s legendaryDim Sum Platter including Steamed Boston Lobster Dumplings, Steamed Sea Urchin and Shrimp Paste Dumplings, Steamed Crab Meat Siew Long Buns and Steamed Wild Mushroom and Black Truffle Dumplings along with a traditionalHalf Roasted Peking Duck for the table.. For the main course, specialty items for all to enjoy include Stir-Fry Bahamas Conch Meat with XO sauce, Steamed Sea Bass with Mushroom and Dried Tangerine Peel in Soy Sauce, Braised Lamb Shank with Bean Paste Sauce, Stir-Fried Chinese Cabbage with Supreme Chicken Broth, and Fried Rice with Eight Treasures in Lotus Leaf. The celebration will end on a sweet note with Osmanthus Cake with honey, chocolate and lychee.
