The second stage of the 2022 Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) and Global Champions League (GCL) season is set to begin at the incredible Miami Beach location on Thursday, April 14, and run through April 16. This event is like no other with the arena set right next to the Atlantic Ocean which serves as a picture-perfect backdrop for elite show jumping competition.
Miami Beach is a South Florida city island that is famous for its Art Deco Architecture and beautiful beaches. The venue is a favorite for both competitors as well as spectators because of its stunning location and view.
The first round of GCL competition will be held on Thursday, with the second round taking place Saturday. Riders from around the world will vie for the top prize in the LGCT Grand Prix of Miami Beach on Saturday.
An impressive lineup of 57 riders representing 18 different nations will compete at this prestigious event. Fans and spectators will be able to watch top horse and rider combinations such as Ashlee Bond and Donatello, Ben Maher with Ginger-Blue, Bliss Heers aboard Antidote de Mars, Conor Swail riding Vital Chance de la Roque, Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen VDM, Kent Farrington riding Gazelle, and Nayal Nassar with Igor van de Wittemoere.
Miami Beach will also offer 2* competition at the lovely beachside venue alongside the world-class 5* show jumping.
Not only does Miami Beach return to the Longines Global Champions Tour calendar this year, but it also brings with it the launch of a brand new exclusive Global Champions Lounge.
Tickets for one of the most popular events of the season LGCT Miami Beach 14 – 16 April are now on sale. Entry to the shopping village and public grandstand is still free however, pre-registration via the link below is required due to limited availability and popular demand.

Tickets to the exclusive Global Champions Lounge will give you access to a perfect view of the competition arena and ocean, access to a private bar and a complimentary welcome drink with a selection of finger food on arrival.
It will be an exciting three days of show jumping action with a range of classes starting with CSI2* in the morning, then building up to the highlight CSI5* competitions each afternoon.
