This is going to be a December to remember in Miami. Miami Art Week is kicking off Miami’s action-packed high season, with events, parties and must-see exhibitions that draw tens of thousands to South Beach, Wynwood and beyond.
Winters in the Magic City are far from frosty, but the city offers a ton of activities to get in the holiday spirit with holiday villages, ice skating, Christmas dinners at tasty Miami restaurant and New Year fireworks.

Nov 29 – Dec 6, 2022 – Art Basel and Miami Art Week
Art takes over Miami with the world-famous Art Basel Miami Beach, satellite fairs like Art Miami and Design Miami/ and plenty of exhibitions, parties and more. Art Basel celebrates its 20th-anniversary edition in Miami Beach with 283 premier galleries – the largest show in Miami Beach to date – including 26 first-time participants as well as multiple exhibitors returning after a brief hiatus. More than half of this year’s galleries have principal gallery locations in North and South America, joined by new and returning exhibitors from Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Untitled Art is the leading independent art fair taking place annually on the sands of Miami Beach. Guided by a mission to support the wider art ecosystem, Untitled Art offers an inclusive platform for discovering contemporary art and prioritizes collaboration in each aspect of the fair. Untitled Art 2022 will take place during Miami Art Week from Tuesday November 29 through Saturday December 3, with a VIP Preview on Monday November 28.

Dec 1, 2022 – elrow ‘Delusionville’ Art Basel
The world’s most infamous immersive event brand, elrow, is excited to unveil the lineup to their most epic theme yet, Delusionville – a 12 hour trip into the collaborative minds of legendary street artist and “art phenom”, Ron English, the Arnau family, Link Miami Rebels (CLUB SPACE, SPACE PARK). At the crossroads of visual storytelling, entertainment and new immersive technology, FilmGate Interactive Media Fest invites all curious and tech-savvy audiences to explore the best mind-bending stories in interactive and immersive storytelling.
Now – Dec 8, 2022 – No Vacancy, Miami Beach
Experience public art at some of Miami Beach’s famed hotels during No Vacancy’s annual exhibition of juried works. Presented by the City of Miami Beach in collaboration with the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority (MBVCA), the juried art competition No Vacancy returns for its third edition to expand Miami’s cultural scene with an exciting lineup of installations, sculptures, murals and activations. The free public exhibition will be on display from Thursday, November 17 through Thursday, December 8 at select hotels.
Now – Dec 30, 2022 – Zoo Lights
Zoo Miami gets into the holiday spirit during Zoo Lights, the annual tradition where the zoo stays open late so visitors can explore its dazzling array of holiday lights. Stroll around the grounds to find immersive light displays including animal lanterns, and enjoy holiday music, cookies and hot chocolate. Bring the whole family to marvel at the 26-foot LED tree, and the kids will definitely want to tell Santa what’s on their wish list.
Now – Jan 2, 2022 – Santa’s Enchanted Forest
The largest Christmas carnival in the world, Santa’s Enchanted Forest now takes place in Hialeah Park with festive rides, games and funhouses – along with a 92-foot tall Christmas tree, more than three million Christmas lights and holiday treats.
Dec 10, 2022 – Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
Assemble along the 12-mile route to watch the “World’s Most Watched Boat Parade,” in which dazzling displays and illuminated vessels of all sizes travel down the Intracoastal Highway with the likes of Rudolph, Santa Claus and other Christmas favorites. Gates open at 4pm and the procession starts at 6:30pm, with live bands and radio personalities providing entertainment throughout the night. You’ll also find opportunities to pose with Santa and grab a hot chocolate or a cocktail on the festival grounds. Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park, 80 Las Olas Cir., Fort Lauderdale. Dec 10 4pm–midnight; $25, children $20.
Now – Jan 8, 2022 – NightGarden at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden
The beloved NightGarden holiday light event returns. This whimsical family-friendly event transforms Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden into a magical wonderland with stunning illuminations, spectacular special effects, talking trees, interactive mysteries and colorful lights everywhere. Food trucks will sell food and beverages onsite.
Now – Feb 15, 2023 – Holiday Market on Lincoln Road
As the city gears up for the most wonderful time of the year with the recent announcement of Urbanspace’s famed holiday market setting up shop on the Lincoln Road District starting November 15th, the New York-based brand and its Miami partners at INHOUSE Commercial are excited to reveal a preliminary list of popular national and local vendors who will participate with festive gifts and goodies in the market, which runs until February 15th.
