Art Deco Weekend
South Beach – January

Art Deco Weekend is a three-day celebration of that movement — a weekend filled with art, architecture, history, culture, entertainment and more. Originally created as a way to bring more people to Miami Beach at a time when tourism was low and preserving Art Deco history wasn’t a priority, today, this popular annual event is still the longest-running free community cultural festival in Miami Beach.

Model Volleyball Miami Beach
8th & Ocean Front – February

The Model Volleyball Tournament takes places once a year in Miami Beach. The tournament has grown to see nearly 15,000 attendees over the two day event in Miami Beach. The Tournament is always free and open to the public of all ages. Featuring each cities top model agencies, as well as some of the top professional volleyball players across the world, competing in a co-ed beach volleyball tournament. These top agencies include Next, CGM, Elite, MC2, Mega, Front, BMG Runways, 2BC, K2, DAS & Dorothy Combs.

 

Coconut Grove Arts Festival
Regatta Park, Coconut Grove – February

Coconut Grove comes alive with music, food and art for the three-day Coconut Grove Arts Festival. This family-friendly outdoor event is a great way to spend Presidents’ Day Weekend. Peep work from over 360 artists while you stuff your face with local bites.

 

Miami International Boat Show
Miami Marine Stadium – February

The Progressive Miami International Boat Show returns to Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin on the Rickenbacker Causeway in Key Biscayne from February 13-17, 2020. As one of the largest and most influential boat shows worldwide, it draws over 100,000 attendees annually to experience the latest in boating from over 1,000 vendors. Everyone from boaters looking to purchase their next mega yacht to novices enjoying a pleasant day under the sun amidst a marina full of state-of-the-art boats will find something exciting at the Miami International Boat Show.

 

South Beach Wine and Food Festival
South Beach – Spring

Celebrity chefs and culinary personalities—from Rachel Ray to Geoffrey Zakarian and Guy Fieri, take to the sands of South Beach for Miami’s biggest and most famous annual food festival, all proceeds of which benefit Florida International University’s Hospitality & Tourism Management school. Seriously, this thing is huge. Concocted by Lee Brian Schrager, festival founder and director, SOBEWFF is one of Miami’s most-anticipated annual events and a favorite amongst the highly-regarded chefs in attendance.

Calle Ocho Music Festival
Little Havana Miami – March

Carnaval Miami and the Calle Ocho Music Festival is the largest street festival in Miami and the largest Hispanic festival in the entire country. It’s an annual tradition that brings people together to celebrate Miami’s vibrant Latin and Caribbean cultures on the streets of Little Havana. The festivities are positively brimming with non-stop music, food and activities for an energetic and festive explosion of culture.

 

Ultra Music Festival
Downtown Miami – March

Party people from around the world escape rainy, gray springtime and descend on sunny Miami in late March for the annual Ultra Music Festival, a three-day electronic dance music (EDM) party. Attracting over 70,000 music-lovers, the festival started two decades ago as a small one-day party on South Beach to cap off the Winter Music Conference. Expect a high-energy crowd relishing in a euphoric dance experience with major pyrotechnics, confetti and lasers.

 

Miami Open
Hard Rock Stadium – April

This prestigious two-week tennis tournament is one of the world’s largest, in terms of players, prize money and attendance, with 200 of the world’s top competitors taking part. This will be the tournament’s last year at Key Biscayne’s Crandon Park before it moves to Hard Rock Stadium.

Lummus Park in South Beach – March / April

Miami Beach Pride is a nine-day celebration featuring special events, social mixers, dance events, a VIP gala, an incredible two-day festival and Pride Parade. The World Polo League Beach Polo, Miami Beach is a four-day world class event held on the sands of Miami Beach. Throughout the multi-day tournament, eight international teams compete for the coveted trophy. Each day is comprised of high goal polo matches featuring some of the best players in the world on the sand along with a series of offsite events that fuse polo, fashion and luxury.

Miami Beach – July

Miami Swim Week, held in Miami Beach each July is the world’s largest swimwear tradeshow. Every year, more than 2,500 of the best swim, resort, beach and lifestyle lines are showcased at the show held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Art Basel Miami Beach

Art Basel Miami Beach is North America’s most comprehensive international contemporary art fair with over 268 galleries from 35 countries showcasing works by more than 4,000 artists. Held at the newly reimagined Miami Beach Convention Center, Art Basel Miami Beach draws more than 83,000 art dealers, artists, collectors and aficionados to Miami during the fair.
