AIRE Is Miami’s New Open-Air Nightclub, Taking Over Boho’s Edgewater Address

Edgewater has a new late-night address. AIRE, an open-air nightclub and lounge built round deep, rhythmic, soulful house and electronic music, opened Thursday at 111 NE 20th Street — the longtime home of Boho Miami, which closed its doors after six years.

The team behind it carries real weight: owner Jorge Moreno is joined by Louis Puig, the creator of Club Space, along with Aramis Lorie, Travis Rogers, and John Fortini. The room keeps Boho’s intimate open-air setting but shifts the focus squarely onto the DJ booth — new bar, repositioned booth, updated menu, refreshed design.

Boho had a great six years, but the bohemian aesthetic became one of the most borrowed looks in hospitality. When a look becomes that familiar, the honest move is to stop repeating it rather than ride it down. AIRE gives the address room to evolve with a fresh identity while keeping the focus where it belongs: on the music, the energy in the room and the people who continue to show up.

Opening weekend

Thursday’s public preview featured local talent. Friday night, Gab Rhome took over the booth — and tonight, Saturday, Steve Lawler brings his Pendulum party to AIRE. Starting September 30, the venue runs Wednesday through Saturday with programming from Miami collectives like Pitch Park and Afrotek alongside rotating guest DJs.

AIRE is at 111 NE 20th St in Edgewater.
